“Everything was lovely and the front staff so very helpful.
The only thing I would say about was the sound on the TV it was very muffled all the time no matter what we put it up to.
We liked it so much we booked another night.

“Do not book here. I booked 10 months in advance and when we arrived they couldn’t find my booking.
Given a room on 2nd floor, in direct sunlight so it was like a sauna, but they did give us a fan.
Arrived back at midnight to find gates closed and locked. Had to call someone to unlock the gate and let us in.
Next morning tried to use the shower and wouldn’t work, then tried the was basin and no water. When I mentioned the shower at checkout, they knew about it and said we should have been……

“The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!”

“Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location.
Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs.
The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus.
Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated.
The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals.
All the staff were cheerful and very helpful.
We would definitely stay here again.”
