“Wow! We are blown away by how friendly the people are in Baku. They do everything to help you without being too much at all. 10/10 to all people in Baku. Qiz Qalashi Hotel was everything we asked for and the distance to Formula 1 entrance is super close. We sat at Mugham entrance, would recommend for people attending the race! All the staff at the hotel was top tier, Thank you all! The hotel has a collab with another hotel for breakfast with the best view over Baku and really great food.……

“Cheap, good location, staff generally good. Housekeeping poor; shower runs hot & cold (no thermostatic valve); plumbing very noisy; toilet seat loose; wet carpet; no bedside light; overhead lights very bright and only one switch by door; no instructions for room safe; only two coat hangers. BEST AVOIDED ”

“Not sure how this hotel can have such good reviews on Expedia! Hotel is ok, location is great within old town - very walkable to most attractions and metro. However the rooms are hit or miss. We had 2 "city view" rooms. One had a nice view, one had a view on wall 1m away! Curtains with holes, wallpaper falling apart in a few places. Issues with toilet. Staff helpful and it is reaonably clean but the hotel needs renovation and better maintenance. Also it was quite noisy with a private residence……
