The location of Demetra rooms is very good, perfect for visitors! I had booked the 4 bed room which offers ample space, with a double and two single beds and a small bathroom and very high painted ceilings. The window faces out to the small street which sometimes in Palermo can be noise with the occasional vespa driving by etc - so if you are an easy sleeper, ask for a room to the courtyard. Breakfast in my case was at a nearby upmarket hotel, which was very good.

Excellent rapport qualité prix

Ravis de notre choix, nous recommandons ! Les chambres se situent au deuxième étage d’un ancien palais (pas d’ascenseur), dans le centre historique. Nous avons garé notre voiture de location au Parking Venezzia (via Venezzia), à 500 mètres, au tarif de 15€ par 24h. Nous avions une chambre quadruple en mezzanine très grande, bien décorée et confortable, idéale pour une famille (couple + 2 enfants). Wifi, serviettes moelleuses, petit réfrigérateur, sèche-cheveu : rien ne manque. Une salle commune permet de prendre un thé ou du café, avec une petite terrasse où sont disposées quelques chaises et tables. Le bâtiment est situé à proximité immédiate de la fontaine Pretoria (100 mètres) et de Quattro Conti. On peut ensuite remonter le corso Vittorio Emmanuelle, entièrement piéton, pour visiter la cathédrale, des églises, des palais, des musées, jusqu’au Palais des Normands. La situation a été idéale pour notre séjour d’1 jour + 1 nuit à Palerme. Le plus : le petit déjeuner se prend au Palazzio Brunaccini (tickets remis lors du check in), à 5 minutes de marche. Excellent buffet, bien présenté avec des produits de qualité (fromages italiens, charcuterie, pain, pâtisseries diverses, œufs, fruits frais découpés). Nous y avons été bien reçus et conduits dans le patio (service classe). A la sortie du petit-déjeuner, nous avons rejoint 50 mètres plus loin le marché typique de Ballaro. Tout cela pour moins de 100€ la nuit pour 4, (en haute saison) petit déjeuner compris. Parfait !
