Amazing 3000 square ft. gated compound is on a lavish grassy lot on 1/3 of an acre. There is privacy and elegance throughout the property. There are beautiful gardens, a fountain at the entrance, 7 fruit trees, travertine floors inside and outside on the covered terrace and a romantic dining area which seats 10 people. This resort like property has been nicely decorated. The features include fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet access, cable TV, two fire places and a large bar with granite counter tops. This amazing home is perfect for entertaining. It is located in the best part of Palm Desert, minutes to El Paseo, close to golf, shopping, galleries, fine restaurants, hiking, casinos, walking distance to Living Desert Zoo and over 24 wineries.

Close to 120 Golf Course to choose from: Over 3 million tourists flock to the Coachella valley each year to play golf on some of the most beautiful and manicured golf courses on the planet. Temperature is perfect year round to enjoy a round of links in splendid desert beauty.This destination is a golf meca of the northern hemisphere and boast over 118 golf courses to choose from for many major tournaments are held year round in this areas.

Wine Tasting Abounds: Drive over the beautiful Santa Rosa mountain pass and you will find yourself in the largest selection of wine growers in southern California in Temecula! Hiking, Dining and Shopping: Hike in the Living Desert Zoo and enjoy some of the natural habitats of the areas wildlife and animals. We so enjoyed our stay at Galina's! It is spacious, and the pool and spa are heavenly. We loved the location of the home. It was great for our morning walks. We also grilled a couple of meals - the grill worked great. We hated to leave!

Our first time renting for a month in Palm Desert turned out to be a dream come true. Large home with plenty of space to spread out. The backyard with pool and hot tub were used daily. Imagine sitting in the hot tub, chatting with friends, all while looking at the snowcapped mountains. Incredible! And Galina was just a text away and always responded promptly. Everything you need is a short drive. I never tired of the amazing mountain and valley views coming down the hill to town. Would absolutely come back!

Location was perfect for our family and friend winter getaway. Backyard and pool/spa were enjoyed by all and used most days. Main living areas and bedrooms were comfortable and house and grounds were very clean. Beautiful views from the backyard. Close to El Paseo, golf courses, grocery stores, hiking, parks and the Living Desert Zoo. Highly recommend.

This was our first time staying for a month at a VRBO. Our host was gracious and responsive if we needed her. The home was spacious and comfortable, though it could use some updating. The neighborhood is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay and were able to share our experience with family and friends as the house lends itself to that. We would come back.

We recently spent one month at this property. Many pluses: gorgeous pool and spa with lovely water temperature, great seating area on the patio, very large rooms and comfortable beds, AC and heating worked well, totally fenced (lawn area perfect for dog), delicious juice from fruit trees every morning, quiet street close to a community park and also a giant dog park (20 min. walk). Some minuses: this home is described as being a luxury property, resort like, professionally decorated with a state of the art kitchen. We found it to be in need of some TLC as the furnishings were tired and worn, paint was chipped, drawers and cupboards in the kitchen were cluttered and overflowing with too much stuff and the kitchen lighting was terrible. The biggest problem for us was that the fridge stopped working the first week, which was very stressful. We were given two small bar fridges to use as repairs could not be done for several weeks. Luckily, several days later, a friend of the owner came through with a new fridge and installed it. Although Galina was quick to answer text messages she refused our request for any financial compensation, instead offering a few free days if we stayed again. In spite of all the great things about this property I would not book it again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the desert. The yard, pool and house exceeded our expectations. We loved the location because of being so close to the mountains we rarely felt the heavy winds that can be problematic in the Coachella Valley. Galina was extremely responsive to us and we wanted to book again for next year but it has already been booked. Great neighborhood!

Great location. Nice and roomy. Pool was beautiful. House could use a little TLC. It was equipped, but a little too much clutter for me. Galina was a great host that responded with anything we needed. She was very sweet. We had a great time in the pool. AC worked really well too, and in the heat in July that was appreciated. We loved walking the beautiful neighborhood and close Ironwood Park.

Our family stayed here for 5 days & had a great time. House is set up perfectly for 3 families with very large bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The pool was perfect & heated before we arrived so the kids could swim as soon as we arrived. Backyard is beautiful & private. Location of home was close to shopping, restaurants & hiking yet in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was easy to work with & answered questions promptly. Would definitely stay at this home again.

Galina was very attentive and the house was perfect for my family of 4- although it could easily handle more people. We were there for thanksgiving with the extended family which happened literally around the corner, so perfect location in that way but even better when we realized we were within a mile to great hikes. The pool didn’t get any use due to unseasonably cold weather, but the spa was lovely.

We had a family gathering over Memorial weekend, with some coming from San Diego, others from Mesa, AZ, and we drove from Bishop CA. I had been in contact with Galina numerous times preceding our arrival. I am very impressed with the speed of her replies in which, Galina answered my questions politely and succinctly. Because of this communication, our vacation was great! We had everything we could ever ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc, which was nice. Unlike previous experiences, the items provided in the kitchen were quality... not peeling Teflon pans, or plastic dishes. Things were better than expected. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds are firm (which I like). The pillows were all sort of wimpy, but dont most people bring their favorite pillow from home, anyway? The pool was clean and well maintained. Since we had young children, it was nice that the water temperature was warm. A plethora of towels were available for our use by the pool. Outdoor dining area was a plus so children could “accidentally” drop food, without adults being concerned. My only wish would be to have child friendly decorations, especially in sunken living room. The lamp with multiple arms, is unstable for curious toddlers, as well as “Chinese vases”. I would highly recommend this house to other families. We will be reserving it again for 2020. The house was okay. Screens were missing from one of bedroom windows. One of the patio screens was off track. The master shower was travertine tile and very slippery. There were no grab bars or anything too hold on to. The pool and spa temperatures were not as warm as had been indicated. We did e joy the spacious house and the yard. The instructions were clear and we had no trouble getting in or out.

My girlfriends and I had such a wonderful time at this house. We come to the desert every year, and this house suited us perfectly. Galina was great, and we had everything we needed. The pool and backyard are beautiful and the high shrubs and trees make it very private. Highly recommend!
