We loved PS Butterfly

Great pool, spa and outdoor kitchen. House is lovely and comfortably appointed. My partner and our two little dogs really loved our visit!

Nice pool and clean property

Great place to stay as a family. We came in summer when the weather was over 100 degress each day. The pool was refreshing and the AC worked great. The property had all the essentials for cooking. We also appreciated the nicer towels and sheets than you typically find in a rental property. The management team was clear about the rules and did a great job letting us know when services like pool cleaning and gardening were scheduled, so we could plan around it. The only downsides were the showers were a bit quirky to operate. Not really a big deal after we figured them out though.

Thought of Everything

We came her for my sister's birthday. It was almost perfect. But no real complaints that stopped the fun having. It fit our needs and they thought of everything regarding the pool area (shower, bathroom, BBQ, fridge, sink, shaded seating area, lounge chairs to get our tan on). The shower had a clog but it was just slow to drain so it wasn't a complete inconvenience. The outside bathroom didn't completely close but was still super convenient so people didn't have to go to the bathroom inside while they were wet. We just had to let people know that someone was in the bathroom. Robert, who was very responsive, said he would make sure the issues would be addressed. One thing, I would have liked a heads up for, was the pool cleaner that came one day and the gardeners that came the next day. It's no big deal if they needed access. I just worried about the dogs getting out and one of our dogs isn't good with complete strangers.

Needs Tender Loving Care

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We a have rented this house every spring for last 7 years but this was our last. We have always put up with the idiosyncrasies of the Butterfly(difficult to work master bath shower controls, spa takes 45 min to warm up, have to move glass table and bring in dirty lookin outside plastic chairs to eat at a table inside, hot water takes a long time to reach inside showers, etc) because the house has such good bones. But the house is not the same as it once was: only kitchen towels are the ones we purchased and left there, broken kitchen garbage can lid, no small frying pan so we bought one, no small pot only lid, dirty looking white cloth couch, too small glass coffee table, creaky queen bed in middle bedroom, no more cloth napkins, etc. In all fairness, the main bedroom now has a king sized bed. There are just too many nicely appointed houses out there so we won’t be going back. It’s a shame. We’ve had such good times there. We felt it was our vacation home. It just needs more TLC than we can provide.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice property, nice location, comfortable beds, good size bedrooms and nice amenities overall. The caretaker was a gem- truly kind, thoughtful and attentive. I would absolutely recommend this place.Two observations- with no intent to **** with faint praise. First,the outdoor property furniture is a bit tired. The outdoor table is stained and sun damaged and even if you clean it (it was very clean) it doesn’t look it. Same with the chairs. Just makes the prospect of eating outside unappealing .Second, the outside sprinkler system sprays water on the lawn chairs/recliners, which are too bulky to move (and there is nowhere to move them to). The are also rope (which takes hours to dry) and hugely uncomfortable. If I am harping on this, it is because it makes it difficult to really enjoy the lovely yard and pool. The sprinkler system goes on early every morning- and because we were there in cool weather, they were damp and unusable well into the late afternoon. Minor fixes, but they would make a difference. But as I said- great property and lovely people!

The outdoor area was amazing....loved the misters in the shaded sitting area, the spa, pool, and outdoor shower, and the lighted landscaping at night. The main living space was bright and open and and the master bed was very comfortable. Super cute private areas outside each bedroom. The indoor showers were a little difficult to turn on, but we mostly showered in the outdoor shower so it wasn’t a huge issue. Location is within easy driving distance of good restaurants and the airport. Management was friendly and responsive.

Relaxing stay with Relax Palm Springs

We have been renting with Relax Palm Springs for several years and really like the way they are very responsive whenever an issue might arise. This year they sent someone over right away to help with some hot tub issues and some garage door issues. Another year they sent a new coffee maker over after I broke the beaker in the old one.

The team at Relax Palm Springs was very friendly and responsive. The neighborhood is nice and the backyard and pool were also very nice. Now the not so positive. The house is dirty (grime around door handles, black mold in the showers and hot tub). The garage was dirty with trash on the ground. The interior furnishings are tired. No art on the walls. No throw rugs. No box springs under the beds. Actual home doesn't resemble pictures on the VRBO website. The place could be lovely, but it needs a big cleaning and update.

Beautiful Private Property

My husband and I and our daughter truly enjoyed our 8 day stay at the Butterfly. The property is beautiful, quiet and private. We will definitely stay at this property again when we return to Palm Springs.

Cozy mid-century home with great outdoor features

Beautifully landscaped and well-appointed. The backyard was a great spot to hang, swim, grill, drink and relax in any weather. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Wonderful stay!

Had a girls trip to the house and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The outdoor set up was excellent from the pool, to the hot tub to the outdoor kitchen. The home was clean and the kitchen well Stocked. The service from the management company was exceptional! Highly recommend this property and the company!

Wonderful house

I stayed in this house for two weeks! Loved the wall that slides open to the backyard! The backyard is amazing! The hot tub and pool were chilly, need to pay additional to heat them! The neighborhood was very quiet!!!

L’endroit est super puisqu’il y a tout pour relaxer. L’espace est bien conçu. Le quartier est tranquille et vraiment familiale. La seule chose je dirais que l’air climatisé est bruyante mais acceptable.

Wonderful place

We came to Palm Springs for my daughters 16th birthday with two of her friends. This place was amazing. The outdoor area was amazing. Pool was refreshing and clean. We had so much fun. Great location. Property manager was very responsive and kind! Highly recommend this property!!
