Spring Break Stay 2025

We loved our stay at Tidewater Beach Resort! It was right on the beach with easy access, pool was right outside, gym was accessible, and the condo was perfectly sized. There was a lot for the children to do, and for the adults. The ONLY downside to staying here was that we were on the 25th floor and the elevators were very slow. We waited probably 30 mins for the elevators each time, but other than that we had an amazing time!! We will definitely be back next year!

Great place to stay

Overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The condo is gigantic and the view was amazing. We really like that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped minus a decent skillet (our family likes to make breakfast each day). Only minor complaints are the furniture is a bit outdated and all of the beds are hard and difficult to get comfortable in but they supplied plenty of blankets which we made mattress toppers out of. The amenities of the resort are great and you could stay without ever having to leave the property thanks to the market and restaurant. All in all, i would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

The master bed was not very comfortable. The pots and pans were not very good. The utensils for cooking were very cheap and did not work well. No pot holder. The elevators take forever with the number of people in the building.

Location is great. The elevators are horrible. There were roaches, we read the reviews before so we took sticky pads to place around our luggage and appliances that give off heat. The ceiling fan in the middle room did not work and the light was blown in the back bedroom. The front bedroom mattress slept horrible. The furniture is old and worn out. The condo is very spacious with lots of room. There aren’t drawers for your clothes in the middle and back room so take plenty of hangers.

The furniture in the condo was old, torn up and dirty, the throw pillows had holes in them. Closet doors were falling off, vanity doors were falling off. Handles missing on the dressers. Could be a spectacular place with a few repairs. I would not stay in this unit again. Tide Water 2502. Pictures are available upon request.

Great condo minutes from Pier Park!

The condo was great for our family! One area of VRBO's description mentioned the master bedroom having a double bed and in another area of the description it mentioned the master bedroom having a queen size bed. We were disappointed to find a double bed in a very nice sized master bedroom. Otherwise, the condo was perfect with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from the 25th floor. Not as a negative toward the condo at all...simply as a "forewarning" for future tenants: the kitchen is stocked well with frying pans, baking sheets, and even small stock pots. However, you get one dish towel and one dish rag. There are no pot holders and very limited bowls and dishes for serving. They do not provide a brillo pad or anything to scrub pans, nor dishwashing soap. So be sure to bring your own. You do, however, get two single packs of dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. Regarding the complex, everyone was friendly. It is a large condo complex, so a lot of walking is required to get to the beach or parking garage. The elevators are very slow and at least one of the three sets of elevators were out of order the entirety of our stay. Communication with property management was not great. I sent several emails, but never received a response. However, I could call and usually get an answer from a friendly staff member. The location is great. Directly on the beach with great views. Minutes from Pier Park and several great restaurants and shopping locations.

Nice stay

The condo is nice and clean. We had seven adults and had plenty of room. Could use more silverware and 3qt pots but it is not a show stopper. Had a few issues, however called maintenance and they were there within the hour to repair. WiFi is extremely slow even after they reset the router. Elevators are slow however being on a high floor pretty much guarantees a ride going down. All in all we had a nice time and enjoyed the condo. Hint. Door does not unlock before 4pm however you can check in and get the parking pass and armbands early. Do that to avoid long lines. Try not to check in at 4pm as the lines will be long.

1st - elevator was shut off and not move 2nd - none of the appliances worked - we bought a coffee pot- 3rd - furniture was broken 4th - not enough drinking glasses - forks - cookware needed replaced 5th - TVs in bedrooms didn’t pick up same channels as the living room- had my 89 year old grandmother who would have liked her TV Bedroom curtains didn’t close and windows opened up to the hallway- people walking by could see in - I completely understand it’s a rental but you could keep up the maintenance a lot better than it is - housekeepers should keep inventory a lot better

Tidewater review

The condo wasn't as described. It was supposed to have 4 queen beds and 1 king bed. Instead it was 4 full beds and 1 queen bed. There were 9 guests and we were gave 7 bath towels for our stay. The closet door was off the hinges in the master bedroom and fell on one of the ladies and left a large bruise on her leg. There were not near enough elevators for a 30 floor resort. We waited as long as 30 minutes each time for an elevator. There was a chair to the kitchen bar that was broke, as well as other small items that needed repair and maintenance. One bed skirt was covered in something. We weren't sure if it was food or vomit. There was sand in the floor when we checked in. I have never wrote a bad review for any place we have stayed but we were not really happy with this place.
