Independent Panhandle Plains hotels

"Our room was not clean and the bathroom was even worse. The shower and toilet were filthy! We had to ask for towels twice. I would not stay here again. Way too expensive for these kinds of issues!!!"

"Severly understaffed and overworked. The poor girl working the front desk was the only employee we saw doing anything, not sure if there is a manager or owner who needs to loosen up the purse strings a bit so they can hire and train properly. She was great, but had to unlock each person's door as the key card machine was down, personally deal with room issues, and had no housekeeping for a couple days. I'm all about cost savings, but not at the employees and customers expense. The room was fine, light bulbs and working wall outlets were hit and miss. Some hallway light bulbs were out, and apparently their painter stopped mid job leaving painters tape all down the rub rails in the hallway. Friendly? Yes Clean? Not nasty.... Maintained facility? Nope Well managed/owned? Laughable Will I stay there again? Nope"

"Decent clean room no issues"

"Room on first floor smelled moldy due to the air conditioner. Faucet in bathroom sprayed water everywhere even outside of sink. While breakfast buffet was free the food was just blah. Upside was the staff was friendly everywhere and the bed was comfortable. For the $148 per night rate this hotel played like a $80 budget hotel."

"Breakfast was good and fresh. Parking was well lit. Room floors needed to be mopped they were very dirty Toilet needs to be re bolted down. Our room was by a outside door that was very noisy people's taking there dogs out and letting the door slam behind them. "

"The room we got on the 3rd floor was disgusting. There was black mold growing in the bathroom all over the shower. There was cobwebs all over the room showing its not being cleaned right. Sticky spots all over the cabinet. The blinds were covered in a thick dust. Then when speaking with the front desk they told us to have hotels contact them for a partial refund and after doing so the hotel denied the refund."
