“Charming older home on the river. Porch has amazing views and a wonderful swing! Porch was shaded and provided the perfect place for meals and relaxing while watching the boats on the river. House was very clean and well stocked. Very please with our stay. Would love to rent again.”

“You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo……

“The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The views are amazing and it was the perfect place to relax. The decor is tasteful, the home very comfortable, and Melissa was very attentive and responsive. We had one issue upon check in but Melissa was quick to respond and resolve it. We definitely want to return and would recommend this property for your next vacation! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed making new family memories!”

“This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views of the river are so soothing, and the neighborhood deliciously quiet. The owners were responsive & helpful when we ran into an internet problem. Kitchen is minimal but I didn't go there to cook ;-) We had fun exploring the nearby towns (Bath and Washington) and the wildlife reserves, but the best part was just sitting on the deck and breathing.”

“This nice fifth wheel is located in a secluded marina with a great view of the water. The covered picnic table area was a perfect place to drink our coffee each morning and cook and eat dinner at night. The owners are on site and are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.”

“Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!”

“This was our second, but definitely not the last, time we stayed here for Easter. The house is well appointed and beautiful. The outdoor space was great for our group to spread out and have a grown up Easter egg hunt. We really love everything about this spot!”

“My elderly Mom resides in Washington. My husband and planned a trip to see her. As a last minute add on, we included our 20 month old granddaughter on the trip! We needed a comfortable place and we found it! Phyllis has the best, sweetest, most well appointed little home we could have ever asked for. After a 9 hour drive, we pulled in, and Phyllis provided wine, water, multiple snacks, as well as little treats for our granddaughter. What a wonderful place. It is clean, quiet and perfectly……
