“We used this house for a friends Christmas. We all have small children and the house was great for us. A lot of room for everyone and the scenery was beautiful. I recommend for anyone looking to host a similar event of a group looking to catch up with friends for a weekend.”

“What a lovely little duplex! So clean, stylish and in a fantastic location, only a few minutes to down town with a park just the next street over. We stayed with our 3 young children and really enjoyed the spacious layout. The host had a stroller and a pack n play set up ready for our baby even though I didn’t request them, very thoughtful touch. We had a slight issue with the entry lock upon check in, however the host was incredibly responsive and was able to help us remotely solve the problem.……

We both work remotely and the WiFi was great for both of us; not a glitch. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The location is quite lovely - near to two parks and right on the river. We had a nice peaceful stay, thank you.”

“Took over 30 minutes on the phone with VRBO when we didn't get the entry code after check in time. There were multiple things broken and garbage all around. It's a shame because we liked the property and were going to try to make the best of it, but ended up leaving early after the kitchen flooded”

“This is where I stay when traveling with my 80+ year old mother. There is a single step up from the back parking lot into the apartment then everything is level. The neighborhood is quiet even though I saw numerous children. Gas, groceries, and shopping are close. Clean and well stocked. We will absolutely stay here again.”

It was close to campus, restaurants and shops as well as beautiful Kankakee River State Park. The rental was welcoming and nicely decorated and provided all the amenities and comforts needed.
