"Despite being a 2-star hotel, it’s a great place to stay if you really want that old world European experience. This hotel is NOT some big fancy high rise like a Marriott or Hyatt with a doorman, fitness center, room service, etc. The place was probably an old apartment building before converted into a very quaint and charming hotel.
The rooms are small, but ours had a cute balcony and lots of shelves, so we had plenty of storage. The shower fixture was modern and clean and the room temp was controlled by a digital thermostat. There was no mini fridge, but since we were there over New Years, we simply stored some food items outside on the balcony where it averaged about 34°F (1°C) throughout our stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us store our bags in a locked closet when we arrived too early for check-in, but still got our room ready ahead of schedule. "
