Wonderful location & nice property near Place des Vosges

Well cared for property at a wonderful location near the border between the 3rd and 4th arrondisements make a stay in Paris charming. The beautiful courtyard is deeply redolent of the best of Paris and the excellent location puts exciting parts of Paris within easy walking distance.

Beautiful location and view

Lovely apartment in Paris

The owner was very responsive. We arrived early and he was kind enough to allow us early checkin. The unit is as described. The location is convenient to public transportation in a very nice area in Paris

Lovely flat in nice location

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in this flat. It is in a beautiful setting, in one of my most favourite locations in Paris. Very close to grocery shopping and public transportation. David was very responsive.

Served us well for 10 days!

Location was perfect because it's a tranquil spot in a very bustling section of the Marais. Convenient grocery stores made food shopping a breeze. We loved that the beautiful garden in the complex serves people of all ages. This loft property allowed us to spread out and be much more comfortable than in a hotel room. The small but adequately furnished kitchen was all we needed for breakfast and simple meals when tired of eating out. It was great to have a washing machine! We felt very safe because of the various levels of security required to access the apartment. Communication with David was easy and he responded quickly to any questions. We heard our neighbors TV sometimes but it was generally turned off by 11 PM. My only suggestions would be a fresh coat of paint on the stairs and a small repair near the tub in the bathroom.

Lovely stay

This apartment was well-located in the Marais - close to public transit and a number of nice shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having this peaceful space to come back to between sightseeing, as it has beautiful natural light and a nice garden outside where you can sit. David put in a lot of effort to accommodate us even though he himself was out of town - he was very responsive and worked with us to find solutions for a late arrival time, etc. We really enjoyed our time here and found it a great home base for exploring Paris!

This is a very comfortable apartment for two people and we would return.

It was clean and well-equipped. The location was excellent. We were there in December and it was warm and quiet.

Great Apartment in the 3e

The apartment was perfect for our needs. We stayed for 8 days and found the location to be ideal. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom is very nice with a relaxing tub/shower combo. There is plenty of room and everything you need to enjoy a week in Paris. David was very helpful and a great host.

Amazing location, perfect for a stop in Paris

Amazing apartment right in the middle of the Marais near everything ! Walking distance to practically anything. The apartment is perfectly equipped and the host David was very accomodating even for a very late arrival ! He was always on hand for any questions. We would definitely recommend !

Thought we were getting an 8 but it was only a 6

PROS: -Great, historical neighborhood (two blocks from the Place des Vosges) -Elegant building facade -View of park with rose garden -Nicely decorated -Giant windows with lots of natural light -Deep bathtub -Convenient appliances CONS: -Had to wait 15 mins for the cleaning person to finish before moving in at 7:00 PM -Young people drinking and smoking on the stoop, right next to our window at night -Construction noise from adjoining unit in the morning and afternoon -Furniture does not match pictures (i.e., no Isamu Noguchi coffee table as shown) -Uncomfortable bed (way too soft) -Although clean in the obvious places (floor, sinks, bath, toilet) further scrutiny indicates management ignores details: --Unrepaired water damage on kitchen ceiling --Burned out light bulb in sleep area --Telephone showerhead leaked from bottom, spraying everywhere --Telephone showerhead could not be affixed to take a shower, you have to hold it --Only two rolls of toilet paper provided --Few towels provided and they were old and mismatched --Dirty windows --Washer smelled like a wet dog and has clearly never been cleaned -Requirement that guests take out the garbage despite 50 Euro cleaning fee No a bad stay, just a mediocre one.

Loved this apartment

The next time we are back in Paris, I hope this apartment is available. We spent a week here and loved coming home to this place each night after being away for most of the day. This apartment has lots of light, it's clean and modern, and it's sleepy quiet at night which is just what we like. The bathroom is upstairs off the bedroom loft, and the loft is spacious and easy to navigate even with all your luggage tucked off to the side. We used the kitchen for breakfast items and one day I made eggs for breakfast and there are enough utensils to cook more elaborate meals if you choose. The Nespresso coffee machine was great to have and the Nespresso store is only a few blocks away to pick up your coffee pods. There is also an electric tea kettle that I used several times. Of course there is a microwave oven and a nice size refrigerator. We also used the washing machine twice and it worked great. The grocery store is a block away and there are several bakeries a few blocks away. The owners are very responsive and they even called a cab for us to take us to the airport. This apartment was fabulous for 2 people and my only hesitation in giving this review is that it might be that much harder to book again on our next trip.

A lovely place in an interesting neighborhood

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay at Les Archives - a duplex in the Marais district. The apartment is small, but comfortable for our purposes. We were in Paris for 3 days and enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood and visiting the sights and museums. The apartment is in a gated complex and therefore very quiet and secure. It is light, with very large windows which overlook a lovely garden. There is a comfortable queen-size bed on the upper level and a couch which converts to a bed on the lower level. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our host was gracious and helpful.

Havre de paix dans le Marais

Appartement moderne et lumineux dans un endroit très calme et plein de charme. Très bien situé, à deux pas de la place des Vosges. Petit supermarché au bout de la rue où l'on trouve un grand choix de produits. Le contact avec David était agréable et facile. L'arrivée et la remise de l'appartement se sont déroulées sans problème. Les photos donnent un aperçu fidèle de l'appartement. L'appartement était très propre. On aurait peut-être souhaité trouver une réserve de papier de toilette et deux jeux de serviettes de bain de rechange, vu que nous avons passé une semaine dans l'appartement. Je retournerais très volontiers chez David et recommanderais sans hésiter son appartement à des amis!! Florence - Juillet 2018
