We had a very nice stay at Modern Est. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the reception staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfasts were great! Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome and for the great restaurant recommendations.

Overall, we had a nice stay. Room was fine except for no AC, but it had a fan. Windows kept the noise from outside from entering our room, which was nice. Staff was very kind and helpful. Location is not great due being near the station, numerous buses right outside, and a group that hangs out there until late a.m. - they were still there at 2:00 a.m. Good bargain hotel that was clean so I give it a thumbs up. Metro right outside, which was great and being near the station was not good due to folks hanging around, but it was nice when we had to take metro to CDG.

駅前広場に面している。地下鉄の出口からほんの数歩で最高の立地。フレンドリーなフロントスタッフで、拙い英語であってもちゃんと対応してもらえて助かった。大きめなMonoprixまで歩いて5、6分。小さなスーパーやテイクアウトフードは近所に無数にありとても便利。夜中に温水ヒーターの中を流れる水音が気になる。シャワーの温度が低め、水量少なめ、シャワーカーテンがカビだらけで、水回りに問題あり。

Two-night stay

Very nice hotel, typical of what one would expect in Paris. Service was friendly at every interaction. The room has no air conditioning which meant opening the windows and tolerating the busy and noisy street action including police sirens. Location is great just across the street from Gare de l'est but that comes with the noise. Breakfast is good but not great. All told, I would stay there again.

Considero que el hotel tiene una buena relación calidad precio. Fue una grata sorpresa. Lo mejor: la limpieza, la amabilidad del personal y las habitaciones recien reformadas. Lo peor: el calor (en las habitaciones no hay aire acondicionado, tan solo un simple ventilador), puede llegar a haber mucho ruido por las noches debido al tránsito de la calle. En general, lo recomendaría. Es una muy buena opción si quieres hospedarte cerca de la estación Gare de l'Est.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit 3 Schlafmöglichkeiten. Neu Schöne Möbel, modernes sehr gutes Bad, moderner Boden, sehr sauber, Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank und Ablagemöglichkeit. Zimmer etwas klein. Zentral aber ruhig. Frühstücksraum klein und ungemütlich. Schinken, Käse, gekochtes Ei, yoghurt, Croissant und Dosenobst. Eingang, Aufzug und Flur eng und alt. Sehr gut für kurzen Aufenthalt, weil die Zimmerausstattung modern und sauber ist

Un manque de maintenance ? C'est un **

Bonjour , Au niveau confort , c'est impeccable , en revanche le chauffage c'est un Sona pour la nuit horrible ! Impossible de régler le chauffage du radiateur le robinet est bloqué , la douche pas pratique le maintient de la douche cassé , les piles étaient morte pour la télé ...le rouleau de papier W C coincé , obligé de faire appel à la direction .

Hôtel à éviter

L'hôtel n'est pas du tout insonorisé à l'intérieur, nous pouvions entendre tout ce qui se passait dans les chambres et couloirs voisins.. Le lit était petit pour deux personnes ! Les sols n'étaient pas très propres. Attention à la douche, nous ne pouvions que choisir entre l'eau à 40 degrés et l'eau froide.. Nous devions faire un week-end de 2 jours au final nous avons passé qu'une nuit dans cet hôtel.

This hotel is across the street from train station Gare de L’Est and has a metro stop outside its door with 3 useful lines, many inexpensive eateries nearby & in train station. Room was very clean, bed & pillows very comfortable. I paid extra for breakfast, even with limited selection it was very enjoyable & filling - I ate slice of ham, swiss cheese, yogurt, orange juice, mini chocolate & plain crossants, hard boiled eggs, coffee machine; there was also fruit cocktail, soft cheese, and 2 cereals with milk to choose from. Only negatives were tiny shower in single room option, and no english-speaking channels on TV. Took train from CDG airport to Gare du Nord, easy 5 minute walk to Gare de L’Est & my hotel if you take Ave Magenta exit door when you leave Gare du Nord. Overall I would tend to choose this hotel again for my next visit to Paris!
