「We had a lovely stay at the Whitetail Retreat. This was our second visit. It will not be the last.Our host was exceptionally hospitable. The place was comfortable, clean, and cozy. Everything was easy- from check in to check out. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants to visit West Virginia. 」

We appreciated all of the plugs, remote ceiling fans, bedroom lighting, etc. the kitchen may have been one of the best stocked that we stayed at with every kitchen gadget from a countertop ice maker (very helpful!) to a waffle maker. 「Host was quick to respond to any questions. The interior of the house was really nice-modern, nicely furnished, and clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The owners have thought about almost everything. I would recommend putting a rug or boot tray by the door to help contain the mess of snowy boots in the winter. We were not informed that the community pool is closed due to renovation ahead of our arrival. It wasn’t a huge deal but that would have been nice...

「We had a wonderful stay at the Magic Teacup! We loved the fire and the hot tub. The house was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Location was the best part...easy access to Dolly Sods hiking, which was on our agenda for this trip; we saw a couple of amazing beaver dams while hiking. The house is also super close to the Timberline ski slopes. It wasn’t ski season during our visit, but being so close to the lifts makes us want to come back once the snow starts falling.
