"My stay at The Markham Hotel in Gulfport, Mississippi was nothing short of exceptional. This beautifully restored historic landmark perfectly blends the elegance and character of the 1920s with all the comforts and luxury of a modern boutique hotel. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was impressed by the stunning architecture, sophisticated décor, and welcoming atmosphere. The guest rooms are thoughtfully designed, combining historic charm with contemporary comfort. Every detail feels carefully curated, creating a space that is both stylish and relaxing. The hotel's location in downtown Gulfport is ideal, offering easy access to the harbor, local attractions, restaurants, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel's exceptional dining and social spaces. Whether enjoying a meal, a morning coffee, or evening cocktails with beautiful views, every experience felt elevated and memorable. The staff consistently delivered warm, attentive service and went above and beyond to make guests feel valued and welcomed. Recent guest reviews praising the cleanliness, service, and overall quality of the property are well deserved. What makes The Markham truly special is its remarkable story. Originally opened in the 1920s, the hotel has been lovingly restored after decades of change, preserving an important piece of Gulfport's history while creating a premier destination for today's travelers. The result is a property that feels both timeless."

"This was our first visit to this casino resort and we enjoyed it a lot. It was a rainy day, so we appreciated the parking garage that gave direct access to the resort. The room was modern, clean and comfortable; no complaints about it at all. We had pizza at the onsite restaurant and it was excellent and affordable. I liked the size of the casino floor (not so large that I was constantly lost) and the drink service at the slot machines was very good. We would return to this hotel the next time we visit the Biloxi area."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay with friends at the property. We had a delayed check in, which was a frustrating process. We had to continually call and sit on hold or leave the pool to go to the front desk building to se did the room was ready. Thankfully we were able to use the water area while we waited. I suggest that they create some type of outside common area that is open to everyone even after the water area is closed. Suggest a swing and seating area to gather in. We enjoyed dinner at Hippie Fish with a large party - very thankful they could accommodate and did well with orders. Always a good time at the arcade for the kids. "
