Boende väldigt centralt
Det luktade skumt nere i källaren där barnen sov. Det var ett mysigt boende, men ganska lyhört. Boendet var väldigt centralt.
Liked this old town property. Made you feel like you were a resident of Passau. Had two bedroom with kitchen. Master bedroom had quaint balcony. Located above a nice cafe'. They do not have a front desk so you need to check in at the cafe'. When checking out, they didn't seem to have the record that I prepaid on Orbitz, but all was worked out.
A wonderful little apartment in a great location (under their cafe in Passau). The staff was wonderful and it is in the center of local activities. The cafe itself is very nice and the owner was extremely accommodating. I would like to stay there again!
Csodálatos Panzió, Passau óvárosának szívében, minden megközelíthető gyalogosan, a berendezés pazar, a vendéglátás kiváló! A kávé Isteni finom! Köszönjük, hogy itt tölthettük ezt a pár napot a Das Hornsteinerben!
Excellent location in the old town. Breakfast was fine. Lots of uneven stairs to upper rooms. Rooms on top floor are in the attic and cramped, low ceilings, small windows, WiFi does not work in upper rooms, only on ground floor.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Not again
No parking, no daily room cleaning service, no amenities, no air conditioning and no heat .... room #7
The staff were very friendly. Great location. The internet didn't work unless we went out into the hallway. Stairs to basement level bedroom were tricky. Beds were comfortable. Good value for money
Stayed in the same room we had a couple of weeks before. It was clean and comfortable with a good kitchen (no microwave, but full oven and dishwasher). Bathroom is generous with shower over bath. Beds are comfortable but room has no fans or aircon (did not bother us but may be a problem in hot weather). Location is great as you can walk to station, Veste Oberhaus and local attractions. Staff are friendly and rates are reasonable. Only negative was that wifi did not work in our room.
Amazing room and location. It was our favorite place to stay in 3 weeks. My son so happy they had Netflix and a great park nearby. I loved the style of ceilings and open space in room. Also had a super courtyard that the room opened up to with tables and chairs. Very green friendly. Great place!
The room, bed garden breakfast were all very good, However there were very noisy guests that kept everyone else awake. LOUD laughter, yelling crying, and then other guest were pounding on the walls yelling "keep quiet".
It would be very helpful if there was a phone number for someone who could deal with these guests in the night. Or even a phone number for the police.
Lovely surroundings of the building. The exposed brick ceiling might need some areas plastered and maybe a palmer sprayed on it to keep small pieces from falling out. I don't get out much, but my daughters and I found the place very charming.

Cool old, historical building that has been beautifully renovated. Very clean, with ample amenities.
I received a text with instructions as to how to access the rooms as there is nobody available. Also received a notice that the hotel rep would like to know when we would arrive so the sauna could be turned on. I replied and when we arrived the sauna was NOT turned on. I sent a message and again requested it. 2 hours later I asked the girl at the coffee shop to contact the person in charge to do something. Still nothing. An hour later she went down and said it would be hot in 20 minutes. It wasn't even on. Then another girl went down who didn't know anything about it and had a look with me. I finally figured it out by myself. The sauna was new and worked just fine once on!!!
The "manager" never did get back to me. There was no service here at all. "Rustic" ceiling was flaking down all the time. ROUGH is best to describe this place not "RUSTIC"!!!! The only reason I didn't give it a total "0" was that the sauna was functioning and clean... BTW. There is free parking at the dome overnight and otherwise very expensive and not convenient.
