「This hotel is next to the hunter valley garden. The views outside the balcony is pretty good and I can see the sun rise in the morning. The room is big and comfortable. It has free wifi and it is stable. However, I think the bed is too soft for me.」

「Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. 」

The brasserie provides good delicious food and has a worth-trying beer tasting pad containing four flavours of their own brewery. Overall, wonderful for driving tour.」

「Beautiful place with spacious well appointed suites. The food was amazing! Close to all the top spots in The Hunter. Our only disappointment was that the amazing hospitality stops at check out time, no ability to organise a late check out and when we wanted to ride their complementary bikes after check out for the afternoon we were told there would be a $100 charge (they did give us one hour for free though) For the price of this accommodation those little extra value adds would have made the...
