"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. "Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "
