「We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. 」

「Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. The pool is in the back garden with view on vineyards and surrounding area. Hosts Simon and Cheryl are wonderful, around and available if needed, warm and positive attitude. 「A fantastic place to stay. Perfect for relaxing with 3 families....such a beautiful, tranquil and peaceful area. The kitchen area and facilities were brilliant and great for hosting a large group. We were slightly unlucky with the weather so didn't enjoy the beautiful pool as much as we would have liked to! Would love to return though....With hindsight I would have booked 3 weeks rather than 2!」
