「We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. 」

「Perfect home for 2 weeks in a fabulous location for exploring chateaus and caves.We had everything we needed with the bonus of the pool which was very much needed in the heat and the boys loved it. Walking into Monpazier daily to visit the Boulangerie was a happy routine. 」

「We’ve just come back from an amazing stay. The farmhouse is full of character and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and gardens. Our host Tanya was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, thankyou Tanya. A real home from home. 「Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. The pool is in the back garden with view on vineyards and surrounding area. Hosts Simon and Cheryl are wonderful, around and available if needed, warm and positive attitude. Peaceful area full of vineyards.」

「A beautiful property in a stunning region. We count ourselves extremely lucky to have found this farmhouse, with just 8 weeks from booking to arrival. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the outdoor areas are simply lovely with breathtaking views of the vineyards. We wanted a week to relax and unwind — we achieved this and more. Fresh bread and croissants just 2 miles away, brilliant local restaurant walking distance and numerous local night markets to enjoy. Perfect. Our best family holiday ever!」

「A very large wonderfull House at the dordogne River . We Made a fishing tour at the dordogne and stay one week there . Everything was top.」

「If the property was owned by Ronseal it would use the phrase "Does it exactly what it says on the listing". Easy check in and communication great during our stay for a couple of minor things that came up. Location is brilliant as 15 mins from the brillliant towns of Eymet and Duras and a hypermarket in Pineuilth. Quet location even though a road is close .Pool area is brilliant . Garden and amenities great . All ages stayed from 18 months to 82 years old and we loved every minute even the 8...
