“I can't say enough about our stay. They literally though of everything possible that one could need plus some. As soon as you walk in, it just feels like home. Kathie left fresh Pumpkin muffins on the table for us upon arrival. The property in itself is breathtaking. We spent hours on the porch off of the living room. We were lucky enough to get a little storm during our stay so we got to enjoy the storm on the porch and watch as the lightening and fireflies lit up the night. It was a magical……

“No wifi and cell service is very spotty as one would expect. Not a criticism, just an observation. There are a good deal of steps to deal with so beware if you have mobility issues. The lake itself is a walk away, no direct views from the house. The rear deck needs some TLC.”

“The view of the lake is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The manager was very quick to answer any questions I had. The only negative is the hill to the lake. Its not awful but if you have mobility issues it would be a problem. Over all we (dog included) loved this place.”

“This house is situated in a gorgeous riverfront setting with a large deck that wraps around 2 sides of the house. Having 5 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for our large group coming for the VT Graduation. **please note - this rental doesn’t include sheets or towels so come prepared. The listing did not state this (VRBOs fault, not the owner) so we had a last minute scramble but the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and got us squared away. “My brother and I stayed here for a few days in the spring as a nice break from work and to get in some fishing. The cabin is equipped with everything you need whether it be a short or long stay. There are plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You have a full kitchen at your disposal with a good size dining table and there is also a washer/dryer if you need them. “This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. Sherry was very responsive and friendly when we had questions.”

“I never do reviews, but was so impressed I am sharing. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Had booked a year in advance for my daughter’s graduation. It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go.
