Beautiful destination!

The Matahari Beach Resort is just amazing. Beautiful hotel, nice bedroom and great hospitality! We wished we could have stayed longer. Perfect place also if you want to go diving around Menjangan Island.

Hotell med klass

Hotell med klass. Vackra trädgårdar, som en botanisk trädgård. Min favorit är poolområdet med höga gröna berg i bakgrunden. Frangipani träden runt omkring sprider en fantastisk doft speciellt på kvällar och nätter. Vackra bungalows i sten med traditionella skulpturer, balinesisk design. Utedusch i form av en stor drake i sten gjorde duschandet exotiskt. Vi gillade den rikliga och goda frukosten som serverades vid havet. Den vackra himmelssängen kunde haft varmare täcken och mjukare kuddar. Underbar möblerad terrass framför bungalowen. Trots att entrén vaktades av två drakar kommer du att känna dig varmt välkommen. Personalen ger dig mycket bra service och ett varmt leende. Utmärkta yogalektioner i vacker paviljong med toppenbra lärare.

Paradiso a pemuteran

Piccolo angolo di paradiso, ideale per chi dopo il dinamismo di Ubud/Kuta ha bisogno di un po’ di relax al mare. Le stanze sono ampie e pulite dotate di tutti i comfort ed immerse in uno stupendo giardino. Consiglio di noleggiare una barca per raggiungere la barriera corallina perché è è davvero uno spettacolo che merita. La colazione è ottima e lo staf è molto attento e gentile.

Charming resort next to beach

Villa based resort in Pemuteran, north side of Bali. Not touristic at all. Resort is next to beach with nice beds at the beach, as well as sports facilities. Large pool with beds. Friendly staff. Two restaurants, one at the beach for lunch and main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Villa's are spacious with shower outside. Clean. One recommendation is to upgrade breakfast buffet.

Bali High (quality)

Second half of the trip to Bali. Came here for the amazing snorkeling. Pleased to find out this area was less polluted then the south part of the island. Still disappointed to find lots of trash and debris in the ocean at the amazing snorkel spots, to which you have to take a 40 minute boat ride to access. The hotel is outstanding. Totally worth getting spa treatments. The rooms are like a travel brochure for Bali. Huge. Gorgeous stone and wood carvings, including beautiful outdoor shower sculptures. Amazing, friendly service. Expensive for Bali, but a good value compared to other tropical locations we've been. Only downside, is the food is not four or five star on the international scale. However, good for Bali. Seems odd that it is so hard to get a rare piece of fresh fish on this island. Also, poor quality Wi-Fi. Totally worth going to this area. The snorkeling is world-class, for both fish and coral species.

Agréable mais sans plus

Un hôtel tout à fait satisfaisant, propre, à l'ambiance familiale et accueillante. Un petit air de "splendeur passée", avec une décoration typique balinaise un peu vieillie qui fait penser qu'il s'agit d'un ancien temple centenaire, alors que l'hôtel n'a qu'une vingtaine d'années! Du coup, l'infrastructure n'étant pas très moderne, il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel exceptionnel, mais c'est tout de même un lieu très agréable sans être très luxueux, avec une belle piscine et un accès à la mer, dans une partie moins touristique de Bali, où il est très agréable de faire de la plongée ou du snorkeling au large de l'île de la très belle île de Menjangan. Pour cette excursion, pensez à bien négocier les prix, il y a beaucoup de compagnies qui proposent ces activités sur la route principale de Pemuteran. Egalement à faire dans le coin, la visite du parc national, avec visite de la mangrove et des singes locaux avec un guide, petite sortie intéressante.

Wunderschönes Resort zum Wohlfühlen !

Das gesamte Resort ist im balinesischen Stil in einer wunderschönen tropischen Gartenanlage aufgebaut und unglaublich liebevoll mit Steinfiguren, geschnitzten Holzarbeiten, Blumenkübeln etc. zusammen gestellt. Alles ist stimmig, stilsicher und fügt sich wunderbar zusammen. Die Standardzimmer sind eher eine Doppelhaushälfte und verfügen über eigene Terrasse, Außendusche (!!!) und genügend Platz/Abstellfläche im Bad. Personal + Service absolut top, und das bei einer lockeren, sogar familiären Atmosphäre. Dieses nicht-geschäftsmäßige haben wir als höchst angenehm und individuell empfunden, wirklich toll. Wunderschöner großer Pool, außerdem Privatstrand mit Beach-Restaurant. Es sind 2 Restaurants vorhanden, die relativ teuer sind, aber gut. Außerhalb des Resorts gibt es einige Restaurants (nicht besonders empfehlenswert), aber sonst nicht viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Eher für Ruhesuchende geeignet. Angesichts des erstklassigen Service haben wir zum Schluss gern einen Briefumschlag mit Trinkgeld für alle Mitarbeiter abgegeben. Verglichen mit anderen Resorts in dieser Kategorie ist das Matahari mit auf dem höchsten Level. Einziger Kritikpunkt: der Kaffee beim Frühstück war immer nur lauwarm und vom Geschmack ein wenig wie abgestanden. Gesamturteil: trotzdem uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert !

Le paradis

Service parfait, restaurant très bon avec des animations certains jours, vélos à dispositions très pratique pour découvrir les temples du coin et aller aux autres centres de plongée ou relâcher des tortues à 5min. Piscine et jardin magnifique et entretenu. La plage de sable noir n'est pas la meilleure à Bali. Mais c'est normal à pemuteran ici on vient pour la plongée ou snorkling. Personnel aimable, il y a quelques français dans l'équipe et cela se sent dans les détails : eau minérale à volonté, pain, beurre salé. Les airs de musique jouées par le joueur de xylophone accompagnant les repas sont envoûtants. Bref, c'est de loin le meilleur hôtel que nous ayons fait permis les nombreux que nous avons déjà fait dans d'autres pays. Quoi de mieux pour notre lune de miel.
