"The place is adorable but very old amenities like the showers, etc. The grounds are nice with a beautiful pool. There is a cute, old playground and tennis court. Breakfast is good. The pillows and mattresses were uncomfortable and bathroom grout could use some scrubbing. The host and employees were extremely nice and welcoming. Wish we would have had time to hang out at the location. Free bikes to ride around. "

"Situated on an isolated raised area just on the edge of the town this is a spacious property with comfortable beds. It is however rather bland inside with sparce furniture. It needs a table and chairs for eating together with a coffee table to help fill the space. The main lights in the bedrooms have no shades or ceiling rose, just the bulb hanging on the cable. "This is a great holiday home for everyone who wants to enjoy Portugals nature. The apartment itself is nice and equipt with everything you need. The pool is also very nice. "This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. The owners live nearby and are the most hospitable and generous hosts imaginable, sharing fresh produce from their farm and knowledge of the area."
