We recently stayed at a beautiful cottage in Cilburn, Lake District, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cottage itself was immaculate—clean, well-maintained, and exuding charm from every corner. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making it a perfect retreat. The location was ideal, nestled in a lovely village with incredibly friendly locals who made us feel right at home.Although the weather didn’t cooperate much during our stay, with rain most of the time, the coziness of the cottage more than made up for it. A dryer would have been a welcome addition given the wet weather, but this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise perfect holiday. We enjoyed every moment and look forward to visiting again, hopefully with better weather next time!
