Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Upon check-in, the apartment was not clean. The walls were filthy, the stairs had not been vacuumed, the bathroom floors had not been properly swept or mopped, there were urine stains and hair on the toilets/floors, used feminine hygiene products in the main bathroom trash can, and the sheets in the main bedroom had so much hair on them that we questioned whether they had been cleaned at all. Fortunately, the apartment was stocked with a few cleaning supplies and had a washer and dryer, so we took it upon ourselves to clean before settling in.
Then came the amenities. The main pool was closed, which was not a huge issue since there were two pools available. However, the trash cans at the second pool overflowed for our entire stay, and the bathrooms were so dirty that we didn’t feel comfortable using them. The arcade was out of order and dirty, and the game room was also a complete mess. The lounge area, coffee room, and other common areas were filthy—to the point that they looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in months.
We took photos and contacted management immediately. Since it was the weekend, there was little that could be done at the time, so we did our best to make the apartment more comfortable for our family.
