Construction

We didn’t know at the time of booking but, the property was undergoing maintenance. The property manager did a great job of communicating the situation and offering rebates for our accommodation. The only complaint I had was the construction crews began work earlier than what we were told they would.

hard hat construction zone

I was contacted the day before checking in to say that the management company had just become aware that the HOA was having the house painted and the could relocate us so that we wouldn't be inconvenienced by their set up. we booked this place 3 months before and they were contacting us 24 hrs in advance so the 2 places they offered to moe us to, were not comparable for the reasons we chose the place we did. so we chose to stay where we originally booked. when we got to the condo, there were trucks, cranes, cherry pickers, dumpsters and scaffolding all blocking the driveway, stairs, parking and balconies. this was a full on hard hat construction zone - demo-ing and replacing entire parts of the building and siding and the construction crew (who were extremely nice) said they had been at it for 3 WEEKS. this was NOT painting. there is NO WAY that perdido realty didn't know this was happening and they chose to wait until 24 hours before to tell us. this is entirely unacceptable!!! I have pictures of everything
