Fantastic Condo!

We have been to Ft Walton Beach 3 times and this has been our favorite place. It was clean with plenty of space and incredible views. Check-in and out were incredibly easy and they even called to let us know we were good to check-in ahead of time. We will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and we very enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were needing. The beach and water was beautiful but there was one group that had no respect for anyone else on the beach and stayed drunk and loud every day. We were under the impression that no glass bottles were allowed but that wasn’t the case. It’s a shame that a group like this can ruin a beautiful experience for other beach goers.

The keyless entry is super. Worked with Hannah to secure a condo next year and she helped out quite a bit. Appreciate that.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was ready on time and with a good first impression. My wife likes the walk in shower. Having separate bathroom for kids is a plus. Beach service young man was excellent. Like a cruise ship people take towels down to reserve chairs they don’t sit in for several hours if at all. That’s just people being themselves. Young man sets up as fast as he can and lots of folks want the front row. Amenities were nice ice maker was a plus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve rented this unit a few times now. This last experience was good. The place was clean upon arrival. The negatives- somehow the tv cables were all flip flopped making it very difficult to watch tv. I called Brooks and Shorey and they sent someone over immediately even though it was the end of the day. The master bedroom mattress is pretty uncomfortable along with the couch.

However, it gave us an excuse to get massages a couple of different days. The condo is in the perfect location. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. It was clean. It was close to everything. We had a wonderful honeymoon. Oh, and the bathroom is amazing! So much space!

Beauty and The Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a wonderful stay at Pelican Isle unit 508, everything we needed for a comfortable vacation was in the condo. The beaches are probably the most beautiful beaches we stay on and we have been to our share of beach vacations. There are multiple restaurants and or bars the serve up anything you could possibly be hungry for. Traffic in Ft. Walton is extremely congested and kind of bottle necks up in certain areas so it was a little difficult getting around when going out. We would highly recommend booking a trip to paradise.

The sheets in the master were rough feeling the first night, like they already had sand in them. There is dust an inch thick in several places in the unit, which i wouldnt even mention if i wasnt charged a cleaning fee. The door frame was busted making it hard to open and close the door. As always though the staff was pleasant and friendly and views cant be beat

The condo is good and we enjoyed our stay here, there are some minor things I will address. 1. several outlet covers are missing or damaged and pose a risk to children. Particularly the outlet that is right beside one of the bunk beds. This to me is unacceptable for a rental. (2.) Some of the buttons on the main tv remote didnt work. I had to use the one from the bedroom. (3.) I wish some of these rentals would improve and maintain good cooking equipment. We cook alot and I do not like the cheap cookware. I do not expect premium, being a rental, but not the cheapest.

The complimentary umbrella and chairs are slightly misleading since the beach worker says they are first come first serve and our name was not reserved like many others were. It would be nice if hairdryers were provided in the bathrooms, that was something that was discovered last minute that needed to be packed. Kitchen could use some bigger coffee mugs and a larger cutting board.I feel like kitchen counter is scraped up due to lack of a large cutting board. owner might want to protect countertop better

The location was very convenient, and right on the beach so we enjoyed listening to the waves from the balcony. We usually like to go to the beach in the spring or fall so the temperature was a little warmer and more humid than we like. Thank goodness for a good air conditioner! The condo was a nice size for my husband and I. We didn't need the second bedroom or the bunks in the hallway but they looked nice. It's nice that each bunk has its own tv screen. The bed seemed rather firm at first but we slept well.

Best Winter Stay Ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed five beautiful days in the condo with excellent view from two balconies. It was so nice snuggling in bed and listening to the waves crashing or the hiss of the gentle surf as we had access from the master suite. Also, we delighted in the view as we dined in the living area side with its balcony access. The two bedroom condo was quite roomy and had all the amenities of home should one desire to cook a little or maybe launder a few clothes before packing for the return home. The updated furniture was a pleasant surprise that we really liked. We were supplied with ample towels and dishwashing detergent as well. Thank you so much for making this condo available to us where we enjoyed one of our most pleasant stays in years. We will highly recommend this location and this condo to other acquaintances.

Building is going to ****

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has stayed in this building several times over the last few years, this unit once before. Before it was rented by the owner. This was the worst stay yet. The busiest week of the year and there was one elevator down the entire week, which wasn't an issue for me but it was for my 86 year old father that came with us. When we inquired about it we got a shoulder shrug and was told we've done all we can do. The last 3 days there was construction next door to us. My children and I were able to escape to the beach but my father was not. By Friday I had a terrible migraine. Again, nothing could be done by either the HOH or Brooks and Shorey. The staircase was filthy as was the lobby. The unit was fine, says sleeps 8 but only had 1 pot and 1 pan to cook with.
