"Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car.
Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat.
Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door.
Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold.
Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention.
Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. "

"Great location close to parking and right opposite the station. Owners are a lovely couple and super friendly. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice but the traditional full English is one of the best I’ve had "

"Hotel is right on the waterfront with a big car park across the street for easy parking. Hotel is reasonably modern and well looked after. Walking distance to everything.
We had an accessible (wheelchair) room and the open wetroom bathroom that has many dirty-wheeled wheelchairs rolling over it needs to be cleaned much more regularly."

"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well...

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Map apps and a GPS do not recognize the exact location of the cottage. It took us a long time to find the cottage. Sykes Cottages list the cottage to have a washer (there...

"The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was great and very clean. The views were lovely and the pool looked great although the weather was not conducive to swimming. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I especially liked the pastries on the buffet and the cooked breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay."
"Lovely place to stay for a night on the way to the Isles of Scilly. As I was on very early ferry - especially appreciated the freshly prepared takeaway breakfast. Thank you."
"When we turned up to the property on 22nd May 2025 around 5pm, a landlady, the owner, told us that she had nothing to do with Vbro or Expedia and we had been not booked, and she told us to leave, with no further explanation. I explained that it took us 6 hours to travel from London to there, we supposed to be on a holiday and we booked the few days before, having confirmation and money had been transferred. We had to leave, out of respect with no formal reply, or explanation. We had to get another hotel urgently for the night and stay somewhere else. It sent me to panic and shock, was a quite traumatic experience. She appeared drunk at the time, with clear smell of alcohol intoxication, and quite rude in manner. "
