「We had a wonderful experience at Lil'Kickback! Our stay at this delightful cabin on Elk Creek was in the end of October, 2025 and part of our 40th anniversary celebration. Travelling along the Great River Road from southern Wisconsin, Eau Claire was to be a layover spot as we had planned to take a day trip to the northern tip of the state and visit some waterfalls. 「Absolutely gorgeous home! I could have spent a week! Exactly like the photos. The fireplace is gas, with a remote control! So easy to be cozy! The house is so well appointed, it feels like a home! A couple of things to be aware of: first, the bunk beds are in the hallway that connects the kitchen to the back bedroom. It might impact kids who need more privacy/quiet. 「Was a very quiet and relaxing spot, weather wasnt great so we spent time inside watching sum movies and shows. Cabbin had everything we needed and loved the little care basket. 」

「We had the most peaceful getaway for 4 days in October here. The host was very responsive and the place was full of all essentials needed for a home cooked meal or bbq on the deck outside. Had coffee each morning (coffee and maker included) outside while watching fishermen, hunters, neighbors or for a walk and the squirrels getting ready for the new season. Beautiful view of the Mississippi backwaters from the kitchen and living room, huge windows. Would definitely go back! Thank you! 」

「We hosted a small group of men from our church and the variety of bunks/beds and on three levels facilitated our group well. Outdoor seating added to our ability to share meals - even if in two dining areas. Quiet location, clean property, and everyone from our group stated "whew...this is nicer than I thought" - which is a solid Midwest compliment. 」
