「Second time in this place in a span of 13 months and nothing has changed. It has the feel of a hotel that was once built to impress, but has had minimal investment. Loads of cosmetic defects in the room, poor drainage, poor air conditioning, bathrooms a bit dingy, very old TV, smelly carpets in the hallway, etc, etc. The breakfast buffet is acceptable, but minimal (think Premier Inn) with much of the hot food looking like it was cooked the day before. 「We recently stayed at Liv Mackenzie Beach Resort for seven nights, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. 「The room setting, service and light breakfast were very good. It was only the toilet odour in our room that we dislike most. We followed the hotel instruction of throwing toilet paper into the dustbin instead of toilet. The unpleasant odour might come from the toilet paper in dustbin or the sewage pipes. Other than this problem, we are very satisfied with the room.」
