“This property is beautiful. We had opportunity to rest and relax as well as room to prepare our contributions to the larger family Thanksgiving. Saturday saw us entertaining cousins for homemade soup and games. Mike (property owner). Graciously accepted our invitation and fit right in with the group…..definitely looking forward to going back!”

“This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again.”

“If you want peace and quiet and a beautiful setting you need to book this place. Dog friendly. 27 acres. Creek to swim in. Hot tub. Plenty of room in the house. Everything you need for a relaxing time away. Thanks folks. Place was absolutely amazing. We all really enjoyed our time.”

“It's a nice place, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of room for 4 adults + some kids. Good luck finding a better spot with a WV back country woods off a beautiful deck. Minor cons: WIFI is incredibly slow an will go out completely with clouds. Going up stairs can be challenging if you are over 5 foot. Check-in process needs an updated lock box.”

“We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.”

“Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it.”
