「First of all, the room didn’t resemble any of the pictures shown on the website. Our room reeked of old cigarr and we had to have our Windows opened at all times. The beds were not comfortable and really worn out, and the toilet and the shower resembled more those found aboard ships. The staff couldn’t speak one Word in english, but Google translate did the trick. The breakfast was really simple with limited options. We were not satisfied with the overall experience.」

「Great location to visit several nice castles, nature and not to far from Paris. It was too warm to visit Paris, so we didn't. The kitchen has everything you need. 「Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. 」

「This is a great property that backs up to the Somme River. The view in the backyard is beautiful. The enclosed patio is a great place to read or have dinner. There is lots of shade from the 4 huge willow trees. There are lots of birds and frogs, and you can see hundreds of fish in the river. It’s very peaceful. The house itself is fairly basic but clean and it has everything you need. The owners have good communication. I highly recommend this property.」

「Black outdoor curtains in the bedroom would have been good but other than that, everything was great. The stairs are narrow to get up and down so just be aware of that but the apartment is clean and comfortable. Basics like salt, pepper, tea and coffee were there which is very appreciated. We had an issue locking the door when we left but the building is also secure.」
