We enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet. The scenery and view from the balcony was gorgeous. Tim was amazing with a welcoming personalized sign at entry. Checked in with us the next morning asking if we needed anything and giving us local sites to see. Provides a state park pass to use..which is so gracious. The loft is relaxing, inviting and so cozy. Definite must place to stay.

Weekend at the Barnaminium

My family (spouse and 2 children, 11 & 12) and I were in town to attend a wedding on Saturday. We arrived late Friday evening to a clean and comfortable loft. We enjoyed some tv and learned a new card game, five crowns. We all had a good night's rest, both Friday & Saturday. We noticed the state park pass, which was a great idea, unfortunately we didn't have the time. The Barnaminium was very comfortable and decorated very nice and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us Mr. Tim.

Quaint stay tucked into the mountains of South Carolina.

I can't say enough about this property, from the rustic feel, to the quiet area, to the scenic views. Everything was as close to perfect as one could get. My wife and I spent a week in the Barnaminium as a base of operations, so to speak, so that we could visit all of the state parks the upstate had to offer. We did not expect the property to be another highlight of our trip, but it surely was. It had a warm, cozy feel to it that was very welcoming, especially in the chilly mornings and evenings where we would get cozy by the fireplace and enjoy a cup of something warm. Speaking of mornings, the early hours at this place are something special, you can sit out on the balcony and watch the sun hit the face of Table Rock, it is a sight to behold. The host was very gracious and communicated well, asking if we needed anything, but everything we needed was already offered since we arrived. We appreciated that very much. Overall I would say this stay exceeded our expectations and I hope we will be able to visit this property again in the future.
