“Thanks to Villam, Sanjaya and the team.
This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy.
Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery.
The bathroom has a wow factor and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4……

“The Cheriz Boutique is beautiful. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The view of the tea plantation was just stunning. This is a great place for a couple's retreat - peaceful and romantic. The staff were very nice and the a la carte menu was great. It is an ideal hotel to escape to and relax. ”

“Had an amazing time ! Our trip had a very rocky start but the couple who owns the place were soo homely and treated us like their own daughters. “Myself & my partner stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately the photos on the website do not represent the actual rooms that you get. For some reason, the lovely tiled floors in the photos have since been replaced with a dark red, dirty carpet which instantly makes the room feel unclean. The shower head did not prop up. On arrival the toilet seat had dried up urine all over it. The red carpet had dead flies & many black hairs on it. There was often a very strange loud mystery noise that vibrated……

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

“除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。
不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。
酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。
入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。”
