Mountain View Condos never disappoint. Great end unit on the 2nd floor with North and South views. Booking with Traci was great and the extra perks really were the icing on the cake. We even extended our stay a day. Every “necessity” you need is provided, it’s not all brand new or high end but everything is in working order. Our family has vacationed in Pigeon Forge for 2 decades and this unit was perfect for our family.

Good location

Location is good. Little hard to turn left when leaving due to traffic. Floors were very dirty, kids socks were black on the bottom after just walking through. Was disappointed that tv had no cable or satellite service, only streaming. Tv in master wasn’t even a smart tv, so no streaming or anything.

Good, but could be better

The condo's location was great, great pools, spa, playground, etc. Layout was perfect for the family. The bed frames were very loud and you heard every movement and the mattresses were not that comfortable. The kitchen was not very well stocked and left a lot to be desired. For the amount of people, it have very limited plates, cups, serving wear, cutlery, and hot pads. The couches were very comfortable and provided a lot of seating options.

Mold in coffee pot

The place was moderately clean. It's in a giant complex off a busy road with no light to get out on the parkway. The beds were comfortable for half the family. One twin bed had a loose head board that made noise with small movements in the bed. We had to get tools out of our vehicle to tighten it up the first night, so our daughter wouldn't have to listen to rattling every time she turned over in bed. Our first morning we started to make coffee and discovered a coffee filter full of old grinds with mold growing in it. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience but it wasn't that great either. It didn't feel homey like I would expect a HomeAway place to feel.

Great location, perfect for families. Needs A/C!!! Way too hot.

I would like to have rated this stay higher because it was wonderful in so many ways. Very spacious with lots of sleeping space. The owner has most of anything you would need there for your stay. We loved the scenery, location, the play area and the fact there was a grassy area for our children to toss ball and play frisbee. I do have a few complaints most of which are minimal. There was dirt and debris on the floor including dead bugs in the master suite. We had to sweep upon arrival ( I have an toddler who is in the floor alot). The pool is suppose to be heated but we found it to be cool, almost too cold to enter. The fireplace did not work and there needs to be some kind of rug or something in the bathroom, the floor is dangerous when you step out of the shower or tub, there were several bumps and bruises on my little ones from falling. Now to the one thing that needs repaired, the air. I had read another review with complaint and assumed it would be fixed upon arrival. NO!!! It was so hot that we had to buy fans and keep the doors open most of the time to allow a breeze. It never got under 78 degrees with the air on. If you like it hot, this unit is great.

Very open space, bedrooms are fairly large!

The condo was nice and had lots of space. we did have air conditioning issues but were resolved within 24 hours. I do think the condo is a little outdated though because it still has Tube TVs, small ones. The TV in the living room is a flat screen though. The WiFi was slow, I think maybe a wireless access point would help. We also had refrigerator issues that were not resolved. It was leaking from the top and water was dripping throughout the fridge, from the top shelves all the way down to puddling in all the crisper drawers. I was told the ice maker line froze because the fridge temp was turned down too low, and that it was common throughout the resort. I was told to stick a bowl in the fridge and empty periodically. Well, considering the drips were coming from random locations, I ended up using cups and lots of napkins and paper towels. I was very limited on items that I could put in the fridge without them being soaked. It was an inconvenience for sure. Traci was very responsive though and did immediately begin working on the AC issues we had. I’d stay again if the fridge was completely fixed, maybe include a new fridge in an upgrade project!

Pigeon Forge/Dollywood

We were scheduled for a 4 pm check-in. We reached out a couple hours prior to check-in because we had a sick 3yo. The best that could be done for us on a early check-in was 15 minutes...not much flexibility. Once we arrived, we noticed that the unit was not the cleanest. There were bugs on the wall in the master bedroom, there was dried food splatter on the back wall above the stove, and we noticed the our 2 and 3 yo kids had extremely black dirty feet after running around barefoot for a while. But the worst part regarding the cleanliness came when we were preparing for check-out. My son-in-law was checking the kids bedroom including the beds to make sure that we didn't miss anything. He found a dirty sock within the sheets of one bed. But this sock was not any of the kids. So it makes you ask just how clean the sheets were? When was the last time the sheets maybe were changed? Having come through Covid and all in the recent years, I would think cleanliness would be of the utmost importance to achieve. Finally, for the price being charged, you would think that some of that money would be put back into the upkeep of the unit but it was apparent that it was not. The couches were dirty and or stained, the beds were very noisy with routine movements, and the mattresses were very broken down and not comfortable. The unit as a whole has great potential. The unit is overall very spacious, especially the way it is layed out. I would not recommend to others without change first.

Great family place to stay.

The property was a great location close to everything. The pool area was nice my kids liked it. The unit was a good size plenty of space for the family . The only thing I would suggest is the beds should be replaced, not comfortable the master bed was to hard not firm hard. I wouldn't stay in the same unit again. I really like the property I would stay here again just in a different unit.

No Frills Accomodations

This location had pros and cons. Pros - surface areas very clean, location, large master bedroom and large bedroom (room w/2 twins), large kitchen and living room Con - Beds were terrible, not only were they hard as a rock but the frames themselves did not seem very well made! The queen bedroom was very small. The someone added water to the soap in the kitchen. Pillows on the couches were stained.

Property was clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Only downfall was the pool area closed at 10 pm nightly. Which stinks as after a long day kids wanted to go swimming but it was closed. Our condo was exactly as described. It was also very clean.

Awesome!

This particular unit needs some upgrades badly. All the beds in huge need of replacement. Each shower needs a shower caddy, as there is nowhere to place shampoo, soap etc. and finally Ceiling fans are a must! Bedrooms get so hot at night, even when Thermostat is in down position. As far as the overall rating, the Condo is fabulous.
