“Excellent bar downstairs which was very clean and looked very attractive. Room itself was quirky and large. Had everything needed , warm , comfortable although only thing I didn’t care for was the pillows. A little too hard for me but everybody is different We didn’t eat in hotel as we were meeting with friends but looked very nice . ”

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – a special mention to Holly, who was absolutely fantastic and made such a difference to our stay. “Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return. Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us.……

“Lovely helpful staff. Changed rooms as shower had no water, next room shower drizzled and was broken in its wall fixings. Could all do with a spruce up. Really enjoyed the comfy bedroom, relaxed public area. ”
