Lovely Guest House
Really enjoyed our stay at Claymore. Greeted on arrival and given all the information we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and very accommodating towards my dogs (prearranged). Would definitely go back.

The Jewel in the Crown of our Staycation
Pitlochry was fantastic and idealic wee Scottish town, I only wish we had planned another couple of days there rather than just n overnight stay. The rest of our staycation paled into insignificance after this experience. The 'Claymore Guest House' was wonderful, an extra luxurious accommodation and very reasonably priced. A super large modern classic bedroom with a sitting area and a large modern bathroom suite, and to top it all we also had a lovely view across the well manicured front lawn. Graham was so welcoming and interested in all of his guests, and served a varied delicious breakfast in the morning. I simply cannot recommend this guest house enough, it was the crown in the jewel of our week long staycation which also included St. Andrews, Callander and Stirling. We will definitely be back for another trip to Pitlochry in the near future. Thank you Graham and your staff for your wonderful hospitality, hope to see you soon.

Absolute perfection!
Absolutely fantastic place and staff. Rooms were immaculate with a fantastic outlook. We stayed with the 'outlaws', so had two rooms and both of them were perfect, as well as the owners/staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay with them exceptional! Thanks ever so much from all 4 of us! We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic Stay
Fabulous stay at the Claymore. Could not be faulted at all. Hosts make you feel extremely welcome and nothing is any trouble for them. Room was spacious with lovely views of the gardens and countryside. Bed extremely comfortable and modern bathroom. Lovely breakfasts with a great choice of options. Would throughly recommend the guest house as a place to stay in Pitlochry.

Delightful stay at the Claymore
Was greeted in friendly manner at check in and shown to our room, which was a lovely spacious room with four poster bed over looking the garden, which was immaculate and beautifully planted and the wooded hills beyond. Location was central for the town. Breakfasts were exceptionally good with attentive service. Three cheers for the Claymore

Fantastic stay
Very welcoming and friendly guest house. Graeme, the owner, and Natalie, the young lady who served us breakfast most mornings, couldn’t do enough for us, always with good humour. The food on offer was plentiful and perfectly cooked. Room was comfortable and extremely clean. The grounds were beautiful and the Claymore is situated close to several good restaurants and everything else was in easy walking distance.

We had a fantastic stay at the Claymore. Were greeted with a lovely warm welcome at check in. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Fantastic location and all you could want for a couple of nights

Had a great stay at the Claymore - just a shame it was only one night. Had a great welcome even though we were late (train was delayed), and they put on an early breakfast before our train to Inverness which was delicious (my favourite was the honey marmalade). Would definitely recommend and would love to go back and stay longer!

Lovely place. Room was clean, bright and airy and 4 poster bed super comfy. Bathroom was maintained to a high standard and loved the automated illuminated mirror. TV was on an extending bracket that could be turned to watch it from the bed or from the sofa which was a well thought out idea and fridge to chill your own drinks another nice touch. Hosts were great and very informative, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and very attentive service. All very safe and clean following all current guidelines. Beautiful well kept garden and lovely view of the highlands. Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Just what we needed
We had a lovely stay at the Claymore during these strange times, but we couldn't asked for a better host and accommodation. Fresh air and a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning did wonders for the soul. We look forward to booking again, when this Virus is a memory.

Superb hotel
We were very impressed with this hotel and will definitely be back in the future. The room was huge with a small lounge area. The breakfast was also very good.

Fantastic B&B
Loved our stay at The Claymore. Great large, comfortable, modern room. Everyone was extremely attentive and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more, just wish we could have stayed longer.

Very friendly & helpful getting. Room was stunning with loads of space. My wife especially enjoyed the separate dressing room. The ensuite has obviously been recently refurbished and has a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was really nice, although with there only being an hour (8:30 - 9:30) the staff were kept extremely busy. Overall a lovely place to stay and i would highly recommend it .

Couple visiting for the weekend
Our stay at the Claymore was excellent! Lovely location, great access to the village and some great nearby walks. Staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent. Don't have a bad thing to say about it. Great place to stay for a couple of nights in Pitlochry!

We loved everything about our stay! The room was comfortable and quite large! The owners were very friendly and willing to give any advice requested. The breakfast was delicious!! Wish we had planned to stay more than 1 night!

We loved this hotel, we had a large room, and a nice waterfall shower in the room. This hotel was walking distance to downtown Pitlochry (2 minute walk). The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do around town. We were travelling for our Honeymoon, they gave us chocolates and a note, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. It was a hot meal of your choice with an assortment of juices and coffee and tea.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Large comfortable room with modern bathroom. Beautiful flower garden, outstanding breakfast even for us eggless vegetarians. The staff was extremely conscientious in terms of directions, suggestions for restaurant, a cold pack for my wife's knee and service at breakfast. Easy access and walking distance to downtown Pitlochry.

Choose Claymore!
Staying a Claymore Guest House was a special treat! It's not a fancy place, but Graham and his team have thought of everything. Service was always warm and welcoming; the rooms were well-stocked and comfortable; and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. I only wish we had more time in Pitlochry with Claymore. I hope to return again!
