「The staff have not been trained very well, and that is a failing of management. I encountered a number of issues, like the door lock of my room not working and not being able to get into my room for an extended period of time, and the reaction of many members was that this was not their job. One lady literally told me that she was in "Customer Relations" so fixing my problem was not her job... Otherwise the hotel is nice. The food is very expensive and not very good. I think I would stay here...

「Great stay in Dakar! Room was very clean. Staff was extremely courteous. Laundry service was same day and clothing was perfectly cleaned and folded same day. Ate at the restaurant everyday. Breakfast was GREAT. Restaurant staff was always friendly and helpful with the menu items. If I make it back to Dakar I’m staying here again!」

「Don’t do it. Was excited about the stay after eating at the restaurant on my last trip to Dakar. The two experiences were not the same. Massively dated hotel with fridges not working, furishings falling apart, no amenities, and a room and bathroom full of mosquitoes. Luck it was one night. Just don’t. 」
