The pool house was the perfect end to our vacation. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and lounging by the pool. We were able to cook for our family in the well stocked kitchen and it was a convenient location to our family visits in Colfax and Granite Bay.

Possibly better than the photos suggest... resort-like vibe, second story with views all around, comfortable living quarters, functional deck overlooking pool, well-designed furniture/fireplace/TV below deck, quiet neighborhood, rolling hills to the west, family-friendly pool/grounds, ping pong volleyball/badminton court, good dining options and downtown Auburn nearby, hiking/scenic trails galore, with a competitive golf course within minutes, topped with thoughtful hosts... what more could one ask for ;)

We felt welcomed right from the start. The Hosts introduced themselves and gave us a quick overview of the pool area. We asked about our family, who live in Auburn, if they could visit us and enjoy the pool during our stay. They were so kind to say yes, and we are truly grateful.

We rented this Pool House because we wanted a private area to swim.I became concerned the first time I swam because the tiles were black at the waterline. Then I noticed the steps of the pool, the hot tub & the kiddie pool were infested with irregular-shaped black growth. I asked the host if they had investigated these black growths. They said a pool service was coming on Monday. I sent pictures to my brother, who has owned & operated a pool service company for over 20 years. He said that's black algae; the pool & hot tub & kiddie pool is very dirty & needs to be shocked. Do not swim in it.  On Saturday, the other rental on the property had a party of 7 using the pool, barbeque, and recreation area. It wasn't very welcoming when we came home & wanted to nap. The pool house is cute with a hot plate and a drawer refrigerator & freezer. Its a farmhouse style with a tired couch & loveseat.

We had a wonderful stay here from March 12-23. The property is absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained landscaping that really made the space feel peaceful and relaxing. Everything was also very clean, which we really appreciated. The pool house was perfect for our trip, and we especially loved having access to the jacuzzi, we used the hot tub almost every day! It was also great to spend time lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun.Our small dog had an amazing time as well and loved having so much space on the property to run around and play(supervised, of course).Jeanne and Bob were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The space includes a kitchenette, which was great for preparing simple meals and snacks, though it’s not set up for more extensive cooking.Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again!
