The location is stunning with unmatched proximity to the winery and tasting room (I mean it's literally right there!), the host is quick and responsive and works hard to make sure the stay is perfect, the house is spotlessly clean and is also decorated nicely but minimally so it doesn't feel cluttered or crowded. We absolutely will be staying again!”

“My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking!”

“My friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat and the location/house was perfect! Inside was cozy and well-appointed, with a gorgeous newly-renovated kitchen. But the star is outside! Even in early Spring before everything is in bloom, the gardens have so much charm with lots of places to sit and work/eat/chat. Loved the sound of the creek burbling nearby, and all the birds chattering. You get the feeling of being away from things, while still being a two minute drive to a supermarket! And……

“What a wonderful place to be between conference sessions. 5 adult women had plenty of space in the mornings for drinking coffee (most important) and getting set for the day. I fell in love with your sectional--I want one for home! Parking was a bit tricky if we got back late, but never too difficult to manage. Thanks a bunch!”

“We came to watch our daughter row for Gonzaga. The house was perfect to fit all of us. My son brought his dog and that worked great. The house was very clean and ready for us. instructions where easy to follow. Very comfortable house to relax in.”

“This property is Nostalgically charming, being of a certain age the decor and style of this home took me directly back to childhood. Views are breathtaking and the spacing in the home gives the independence and comfort that’s required when traveling with family or friends. Second day we headed up to the top of Skylark park to the foothills and found snow. Spent a couple hours playing in the powder. We decided on some family fun so we hoped over to RedHawk Casino and enjoyed Apex. Food was good ,……

“This property was located only a little over 3 miles from Henningsen Lotus park. 20 minutes from old town Placerville to grab a great meal and shopping. The views are beautiful. Many birds to see, deer in the area. It was the perfect time of year to visit. The patio grill made it so nice to cook up some steaks and have a good dinner, which provided us with more time to visit with family. Beds are comfy, seating was comfy. A great find in this area! We hope to be back next year .”

“1. Problems with the keycode. It took about 30 to 60 minutes to contact the owner. 2. Cleaning crew took keys that should have been in the house, this problem was not solved so I just used the keys in the lockbox. 3. Parking was restricted so the owner told me to park in the adjacent grass lot. The lot had a few large boulders in it and the ground was a bit to negotiate the walk from the grass lot to the back door, particularly since the back door had no lights. 4. “We loved this peaceful home with stunning views of the river. Every window and piece of art in the house is intentional and in keeping with the nature that surrounds it. Wish we could have stayed longer. The beds, baths and kitchen are well equipped and comfortable. If you are arriving after dark, be aware that is it dark. If you are doing lots of activities, be prepared to drive. The remoteness of the home is part of the charm.”

“This property and it appointments were absolutely outstanding! The owner clearly cares about your experience, and has provided everything to ensure a wonderful, comfortable stay. Whenever we return my family votes this property as our number one pick. The kitchen was so well appointed that we opted to stay in and cook a couple of days as it was so inviting. All of the facilities beg you to just stay in make it your home for a few days. I have to mention that the pool, Jacuzzi and backyard……
