"Parking is 10 minutes walk away, but that is stated in advert, bags drop off works well, cottage is in the heart of Looe, but really quiet. Only issue was that the double bed was a bit small for us, but probably no room for a bigger one in the property."

"Brilliant Holiday thankyou. Staff more than helpful and very polite. They had a wifi upgrade during our stay and went out of their way to keep us informed on progress. Quite a climb up to room but Hotel is on side of a steep hill with amazing views from Balcony Sea View Rooms so you kind of cannot get amazing views without the steps exercise up to the rooms but maybe in the future a lift may be the icing on the cake? Room was spotlessly clean and regularly serviced. Continental breakfast had excellent breadth of products from Crumpets to various cereals to yoghurts to fresh fruit and croissants with a cooked breakfast option if preordered the night before. Rooms have a really useful and unusual self catering option with hot plates, kettle, fridge and microwave all built into a swish sink unit that is great for doing a meal or two or a basic breakfast to eat on the balcony. A rare possibility in any hotel. Thought the FieldHead Hotel was great. Parking was pretty easy once you initially find the steep entrance route in. Best to forget the car once you park up. Cornish Shanty singing in The Old Ship Pub in West Looe on Thurs Night was a traditional Gem and this fab little pub behind the Fire Station has timbers in its construction from The Sunk ships from the Spanish Armada and later additions in its extension from Timbers from ships sunk in the battle of Trafalgar! And the foods amazing there so check it out!"

"Absolutely blown away with the views from the huge balcony and peacefulness just what we needed, we have been going cornwall looe and other parts but always loved looe, The villa has everything you need and much more electric reclining sofa loved the beds really comfortable. This is just perfect place to get away and relax. The host Keith absolute diamond very friendly and helpful and informative we forget to pay 20 pound for the week parking but spoke to Keith and got it sorted out thank you so very much kieth 100% will be visiting again. You will not be disappointed its a piece of heaven x"

Granary - 17th century converted cottage

"Really nice cottage in a quiet secluded spot just outside of looe. A great place for families to explore Cornwall and nearby Plymouth. Goats, chickens, ducks and ponies on the doorstep were a highlight for our children as well as the play area in the shared garden. The cottage itself was quite spacious. Only things that could be improved were really minor things below; - need more spoons in the kitchen - window and front door need to be fixed in the sitting room as in the winter they will let in cold air. - The bathroom is a bit dated but the water pressure for showers is amazing. - There isn’t a dishwasher (despite being on website) - need a table outside cottage front door we couldn’t work out if the tables in the shared area were for us and we expected table as pic outside front door. - Also no welcome pack with fresh eggs as advertised on your website. Overall we would recommend this accommodation for families wanting to explore Cornwall in the summer - we had a lovely stay. The hosts were only a phone call away too. Also just to note the shorter walk to the local beach is closed due to cliff instability so we walked down a very steep local path to mildreneath beach which the children really did not like. We found driving to it easier."

"The cottage was beautifully decorated, with a lovely theme throughout, and was very clean and tidy.We really appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us on arrival, as well as the essentials such as cooking oil, tea and coffee. Mario’s also kindly allowed us to check in early as soon as the cottage was ready, which was a great help.Having two keys was also very convenient for our family.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We would also highly recommend to others.Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!"
