“We had an incredible stay. The ocean views from the property are amazing!!! Both pools were clean and the room was spacious. One pool with a slide is more for kids, the other pool is regular- great for swimming. We got lucky because there were no other guests while we stayed but even if more rooms would be occupied, it would be ok because there are plenty of lounge areas for guests. Free breakfast every morning was a huge plus for my family and it was delicious. There is a shortcut (stairs……

“Excellent place for a special date. However, the A/C unit needs improvement. On sunny days, the inside of the dome gets very warm between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The location is still spectacular. The landscape is beautiful, featuring breathtaking sunrises and night views that look like they're straight out of a movie. ”

“Fantastic location, five minute walk (maybe less) from El Tunco beach. It’s a new property and they’re still doing work. The rooms are as simple as it comes but I didn’t come to sit in my room. The pool and cabanas are great. The staff went out of their way for me, staying up late to allow me to check in at 11pm (I called ahead). Note that the shower only has one temperature, which is slightly cooler than air temp. ”

“We showed up and the whole place was under construction. There was about 30 men working over night with power tools ALL NIGHT, they didn’t stop swinging hammers and using power tools til 4am we didn’t get a single minute of sleep. We then spoke to the receptionist and asked for a refund they said they understood and it was no problem. We went to find a new hotel, and never got a refund”

“We are so grateful for this place! The first day we had the pool all to ourselves which was just lovely. There were lots of tables and space to play and the hotel had great boardgames that we all enjoyed. The Tv, beds, showers etc were so comfortable and pleasant. We missed a mini fridge but apart from that it was a perfect oasis.”

“We had a great stay at 2Surf Sunzal! It is perfectly located in between the main surf spot to the left, and a less crowded beach to the right. The room was clean and modern. Our room, #2 had a large balcony that had a view of the ocean. Great for morning cups of coffee and relaxing in the evening. It has a pool that overlooks the ocean directly as well, along with a second and third floor balcony to catch some sun and to get an even better view. The manager Cami was so helpful as well. She……
