Perfect spot for staying after a day of Cabot Trail sight seeing and hiking. Relaxed in hot tub and captured a beautiful sunset at nearby harbour.Hosts made everything easy and lovely!

Great spot in lovely Pleasant Bay. Store right nearby, beautiful harbour minutes away. Hot tub was a nice and welcome treat. Robes too! As was the full kitchen, we cooked a meal after so many restaurant ones. Comfy bed, quiet place. Thanks hosts E and B!

Amazing hosts and incredible accommodation!

Right from booking, our hosts were informative and responsive even recommending where to eat locally. The Hiker's Suite was the best Vrbo I have ever stayed. Every single detail amenities and decor was so thoughtfully planned. We can not wait to return again! Thank you to Brian and Elizabeth!! Tell those grandkids to keep their sticks on the ice

Loved the Hikers Suite! It was clean, easy to find and tastefully decorated in an outdoorsy theme. Great communication with the host and the hot tub was the best part, after a long day of driving in blustery weather. Highly recommend!

In a cute area on the back side of the Cabot Trail. Enjoyed the local marina and rock beach. Property was very well kept and exactly as described. Fire pit and hot tub were a hit for our family.

East Coast Vacation

It was a perfect place to rest and enjoy some down time in the hot tub during a few rainy days. It was wonderful to cook our own meals after eating out so much. The bed was so comfortable and the unit was very clean.

Great place to stay

It was a wonderful place. Location was great, easy to get to. Really appreciated the extra towels since there is no washer or dryer. Kitchen was well appointed which is a huge plus. I have a couple small recommendations. If you can add some additional towel hooks that would be a big help. If possible, fixing the dishwasher would be helpful as well.

magical place with beautiful decoration. Impeccable cleanliness. We loved the spa that we used every evening after our hikes. Our host gave us recommendations for the most beautiful sunset and a place to see whales! wow! It's breathtaking..we were lucky enough to see a seal by our side who was very curious..memories forever engraved in our memory! I recommend this place, worthy of a 5-star postcard, Thank you Bryan!

Hikers Suite 2 nights visit May 2025

Had a very enjoyable stay at the very comfortable, clean, inviting, well decorated hikers suite. After 2 days we moved into the larger Highland suite for the remainder of the week.The hosts Brian and Elizabeth were very helpful with our switch to the larger suite and did everything possible to ensure our stay was a comfortable and memorable one.Hot tub is private using bromine instead of chlorine and there's a shared fire pit area in the back. Very enjoyable and heard lots of birds and an owl in the back.If you are staying in the area for a week, be sure to take advantage of the one night free policy. This is a very central location and we were able to stay here the entire week while being able to do different trails daily on different parts of the Cabot Trail which wasn't too far to travel.If you haven't been to Cape Breton, let us say OMG the views are absolutely breathtakingly stunning. Wow what a trip.Thanks Brian and Elizabeth!

Just what we needed

Peaceful community, several choices for eateries and the bonus of a hot tub with a handrail for entry/exit. The suite was welcoming. Equipped with everything needed including a hair dryer. No Keurig but you can make your own brewed coffee. The suite has been thoughtfully put together with quality items; cute and rustic decor. I believe this suite would appeal too many.

We had an amazing , peaceful stay . This is an ideal place to stay when visiting the cabot trail. All the comforts of home with a hot tub and super comfortable bed. The hosts go above and beyond . Nothing to complain about here. 5 stars for location , cleanness, comfort , everything was GREAT
