As an asian city person, it was almost impossible to imagine living on a lake during winter. Although I couldn’t see any aurora during the days I stayed in Inari, it was satisfying looking into the sky in the cabin at night and under sunlight. The hosts are very nice and friendly that he helped me to check the aurora status and the flight status of leaving Inari (since the corona virus is spreading and many flight has been cancelled). Nice place for morning breakfast with good foods. However, it's better to have a car becasue the hotel is located at the top of the ski mountain. Without car, you must call taxi or shuttle to get down to the town or bus stop. Other than that everyting is fine with reasonable price just below EUR400 including tax for a cabin room.

Overall is very nice, the staff are very nice and welcoming. The only drawback is the hot shower in the aurora cabin, the water is weak and not really hot.
