“PROS: The host was responsive. The house is centrally located. We were able to get to most locations in Brooklyn within 30 mins with traffic. If you know NY traffic, that’s a good thing. The house is also very bright and spacious which made for a comfortable stay. All of the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of sheets and towels available. The entire place seemed to be newly renovated with new furniture and appliances.CONS: There was no microwave. We didn’t miss it but I can see it……

“We had a great stay at the High Tide for our family of 4, just a few minutes walking distance from popular Beach 98. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained. Great communication from management. There is a ton of great food spots all over Rockaway Beach and the High Tide is close to many of them (recommend Uma's, Claudette, Roasters, Bungalow Bar, Tacoway Beach, the decadent frozen pina colada at Connelly's, and pretty much everything at Beach 98 and Beach 105). “This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in the NYC/Brooklyn area! I have so many great things to say. First, Neysa is a fantastic host. Attentive and thoughtful. “Great small place to stay if all you care about is the beach. That is what I was looking for and so I was very happy. The rooms are very small and the walls are thin. But I was okay with that. My only complaint that Echoes others is that the shower was lukewarm at best. But it's safe enough clean enough quiet enough etc.”
