「Das Cottage ist fantastisch fünf Gehminuten vom Lookout und zehn Minuten vom Strand gelegen. Vintage passt als Beschreibung richtig gut. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber richtig schöne Atmosphäre. Ein nettes gemütliches Landhaus. Im Winter können die Nächte allerdings etwas kühl und zugig sein. Hier sollte noch nachgearbeitet werden.」

「A warm and welcoming property conveniently located for Cylinder Beach and Point Lookout. The fire pit was an unexpected bonus - buy the wood from the roadside on your way up from Dunwich - $30 cash for a big crate load. We really loved the property as it’s quiet but convenient . The decor was lovely too .」

「This is a great base from which to explore the island. The apartment is fresh, clean and ideally situated. Paul, the property manager, is accessible, responsive and accommodating. Neighbors are delightful, including the kookaburras. Highly recommend. 」

「Excellent location with water views from all three levels. Could see whales out on the water. Kitchen facilities all worked well. Need to pack your own bin bags and no shampoo/conditioner/body wash was provided. Would highly recommend if you are travelling without pets (no pets allowed).」

「We found the unit suited our needs perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the unit was appointed. There was ample linen and kitchen essentials tennis rackets and balls. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated and the view from the round window was quite pleasant. We had a wonderful holiday with the unit as a base and the Cylinder Beach sunsets and swimming was dream like.」

「The house was perfect for what we wanted - a no frills base for two families with young kids close to the beach. The house was a great size, nice and spacious, with a great big balcony that caught the beautiful afternoon light surrounded by trees with visiting kookaburras. Nice and close to Home Beach and Cylinder Beach and just a short drive into town. It was really handy to have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. 「Lovely short bushwalk to Main beach, and minutes away from shops by car, it was a perfect location for a family getaway with friends. There is a long and steep set of stairs to the main entrance though - it was fine for young family but something to consider for old people.」
