"Upon arrival, I would have given 5 stars, because what’s not to love about being right on the beach!
Well, what’s not to love is a noisy AC unit that wakes you up from a dead sleep when it turns back on in the middle of the night. That, and the lights were kept on outside the room all night which the curtains do not block out entirely. One final note - there were lots of noisy car races throughout the night, which, if the AC unit had the ability to stay running without going into energy-saving mode, then I think it would have drowned out the background noise. That was not the case.
I believe I was in the “Efficiency house” which is to the left of the main property building. I plan to come back because the room was clean and the location can’t be beat, but I will try a different location within the property.
If you are able to:
1) turn off the outside lights/get better curtains and
2) Get an AC unit that can run throughout the night to block out uncontrollable outside noises, THEN I would have no problem giving 5 stars!"
