"The room was dated and has not been renovated in quite some time. For the size of the room, it should have had more seating, or a small table with a minimum of two chairs to sit at."
"The staff at the hotel were very nice. It is centrally located in downtown Halifax and close to restaurants, entertainment, museums and the boardwalk. Everything is within walking distance."
"The cabin we stayed at was situated in a very cute little harbour, great for our family to walk the shore and throw rocks in. The cabin was on the cozy side for the 6 of us but we managed just fine! The pullout bed wasn’t ready for us when we arrived, but we were able to ask for sheets and blankets quickly. The kitchen was stocked with a few amenities and we were comfortable for the night! Although a little on the rundown side, an effort has been made to make it cozy. Thorough attention to cleaning things like doors, light switches, appliances, etc would be nice in the future."
"We had to check in late and it was absolutely no problem
The property had a beautiful view and it was very relaxing.
All rooms upstairs so not suitable be you have mobility limitations- bit for us it was perfect.
Clean rooms, excellent food!"
"Our stay in this beautiful dome in Nova Scotia was one of the most unique and memorable experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.
The dome was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It offered all the modern comforts while still feeling like a true escape. One of the highlights was the incredible night sky.
The outdoor amenities were fantastic. The firepit was conveniently located beside the river, making it the perfect spot to unwind while listening to the water flow. The wood-burning hot tub was an absolute must-try. It took a little time to heat, but soaking under the stars was well worth the effort and became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The porcupine that greeted us each day on our way in and out was adorable!
The only downside was the ants. We noticed them occasionally inside the dome. It wasn't enough to take away from the experience, but it's the one small area that could use some attention.
Overall, this was an amazing stay. The combination of comfort, beautiful scenery, unique accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made it a truly unforgettable getaway. We'd happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique glamping experience in Nova Scotia."
