「New Aegli is about 1.2 miles from the Poros Ferry landing, and Poros is less than an hour from Pireous Port, (using the fast cat ferries) which is just 25 minutes by Metro Train from Athens city center. I travel to Athens once or twice a year from Portland, Oregon, usually in April/May, and September/October. Athens can get a little crowded w/ tourists, so Poros is a nice escape. New Aegli is my first-choice hotel in Poros. It is right on the beach with great balcony views of the beach and sea....

「Das Hotel ist angenehm, sehr sauber, aber die Zimmer sind seehr klein, die Koffer müssen auf dem Boden liegen und man muß aus dem Koffer liegen - und dies bei einem sog. 5* Hotel. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, aber im Stil altmodisch.
Das Bad ist auch sehr klein, 2 Personen passen nicht hinein.
Was sehr ärgerlich ist: das Hotel lässt sich , wie auf Hydra ja normal nur zu Fuß erreichen, aber der Weg ist für Rollkoffer - und bepackte Koffer könne heutzutage gerollt werden- nahezu...

The highlight of our stay was Elena, who manages the place. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and truly welcomed. Her hospitality was outstanding and made the experience feel like staying with family.
