Lovely Cabin on Serene Lake
We very much enjoyed our short stay at the cabin. The weather was not so great, but that didn't take away from the beauty of the mountains and the lake. It is a peaceful and relaxing spot with plenty of hiking options. There are no close restaurants/grocery stores so be prepared! The cabin itself was warm, cozy and comfortable.

Relax with a view
My sister and I stayed here to jump start my bachelorette weekend. It was so perfect to have a place that was quiet and relaxing for the first day or two. Beds were so comfortable. And the lake was gorgeous.

Bliss by the lake
This little house was so perfect. The exterior space - the decks and the lake, itself - meant we never felt crowded. We used everything the house had to offer: the SUP paddle boards, the kayak, the BBQ. Everything worked perfectly. More than anything, though, the setting was utterly breathtaking. The sparkling lake and Olympic NP right next door. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Great spot on the lake!
Cute cabin right on Lake Sutherland with a great big view! We really enjoyed relaxing on the large deck and watching the bald eagles. About the right size for a couple staying a few days but will get a little cozy otherwise. Book it!

This was the perfect lakeside oasis for me and two friends! The place was really well stocked including spices and condiments which I usually don’t see in rentals. I will note there’s only a Keurig so for those picky about their coffee methods remember that. It was just right for me and two close friends but it would definitely feel cramped with any more ppl (you’d have to be very close as a group haha). The dock on the lake was amazing and it was so fun jumping in for a swim or paddle boarding. It was a dream staying here and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had such a great time at this property! It’s an adorable place on the water, small but super functional. We paddle boarded and kayaked and had a lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Heavenly
My two friends and I stayed here for a few nights, and it was truly amazing! The location just can’t be beat. We hiked at the national park a few days, but mostly just sat on the patio or in the living room and read our books or listened to music (we visited in the spring when it was still too cold to swim). The water was so clear and clean. We stopped in Port Angeles on our way to the house and cooked all of our meals - however, there were a few tiny places nearby if you need to order food. The house was perfect for 2 or 3 people, had everything we needed, and we loved the speakers and lights around the house - can’t recommend this place enough! Thanks Bonnie for the lovely stay!

Hope to stay again in the future
This property was perfect! The view of the lake and mountains was breathtaking. So relaxing to come and relax after spending the days exploring olympic park. The owner had everything we needed to make our stay more pleasant. Fun board games, pots, pans, and other equipment to cook, and so many comfy blankets. And the beds! Sleeping was so comfortable, the pillows were so fluffy. I can go on how great the stay was, but I'll just leave it that I'll book my stay here again if ever i visit Washington again in the future.

Easy, relaxing, beautiful view
The reservation, check-in and out process were very easy. There was an extensive binder with stuff to know about the house and surrounding activities. The available entertainment (games, smart TV, paddle boards, kayak) were awesome. Bunk bed mattresses were not very comfortable but they fit a lot of sleeping options in a small space which makes sense so it was fine.

Three of us guys, in our late 60's, had a great stay for a week. It had everything we needed. There was no rain the whole week so when we weren't exploring the park we spent our time on the deck. Didn't SUP but we did kayak. Highly recommend staying here.

Great little place to hang for a few days. Plenty to keep you busy. Hosts provided water toys and great seating options on the dock. The cabin was very clean and the host was reachable. Would definitely stay again. Lake is not too busy and great for kayaking and SUP. Definitely need life jackets for kids when swimming as they won’t be able to touch. Great experience!

Beautiful Views, Very Relaxing
What a wonderful two days we had at this property. Very relaxing, and beautiful location. Really enjoyed the SUP's, and Kayak. Super close to Crescent Lake if you are looking for day hikes, but really do not need to look any further the out the back door of this beautiful cottage. Lake is very clean and the water is just beautiful.

Wonderful getaway!
We had such a fun time at this VRBO! The stand up paddle boards and kayak made our trip so fun! Bonnie has thought of pretty much everything someone could need on vacation and has stocked this cute cabin in a very organized manner. When I realized I forgot to pack my toothbrush I found a guest toothbrush provided. It’s these little touches that really make the difference and saved me a trip to town. She is also a wealth of information. When we ran up against a lot of crowds at key attractions, Bonnie recommended exploring Salt Creek’s tide pools. It was one of our favorite locations we visited as it was peaceful and low key. Thank you for opening up your cabin to us and for your hospitality!!!

Trip to Olympic National Park
What an incredible home! I stayed here with my wife and another couple on our trip to Olympic NP and this was the highlight of our trip. The lake is beautiful and very refreshing to swim in on a hot day. Kayak and SUP’s provided were a great touch and I highly recommend taking of advantage of all that Lake Sutherland has to offer.

Beautiful haven!
This cabin was spotless and very well stocked. It was well located within the Olympic peninsula for trips to the coast, mountains, and rainforest. The deck was perfect for bald Eagle watching- we only wish the weather had let us take advantage of the beautiful deck and kayaks! It is a small foot print, but all 4 of us slept comfortably. Great sunset viewing too!

Fantastic experience staying at this beautiful property. They had an amazing blutooth audio system that could be heard from inside the cabin as well as on the deck. Lovely touch with providing a kayak and paddleboards on the property as well. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great experience at this property! Recommended bringing extra pillows if you have more than 2 people. Home Is quite tiny and difficult for 4 people to move around in but was more that worth it for the view and location.

The cabin is very cozy but usually that’s one of the things our guests love about it and why we try to cater to families and couples. Next time please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything like extra pillows during your stay. There are actually extra pillows and back up linens in both the storage coffee table and then some hidden in the end cabinet. An underrated gem!
This is probably one of the cleanest rentals my wife and I have ever stayed in, this is saying a lot especially since most outdoor oriented stays have a little bit of dust/debris to be expected! The view of the lake was incredible and perfect in October for the dreamy/sleepy lake vibes. This place was absolutely perfect! So much so that I can imagine living here, haha! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a lake front property for a party of 2 or a family of no more than 4. The standup paddle board/kayak is the icing on top too - don't forget to take it out on the lake!

Great Getaway Spot
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the cabin. The dock and deck are definitely the star of this property. Amazing views of the mountains, and your toes are right on the water. The cabin is well stocked and decorated beautifully.
