Whether you want to explore the Olympic National Forest or just get away from the hustle and bustle of life, The Hideaway is the place for you. Situated just a short walk away from the Olympic Discovery Trail and beach (bring your bikes and kayak!), you’ll find our home a relaxing retreat. Star gaze from the hot tub after a bar-be-que dinner on the expansive deck and roast marshmallows around the fire pit as you tell scary ghost stories.

Secluded with a view
We enjoyed our stay! The back view, especially at sunset, was beautiful. We were visited each day by a deer family as they made their way from one side of the woods to the other. The house was very clean & well stocked. It was close to the Olympic National park activities we had planned. The restaurants nearby exceeded our expectations as well.

Enjoyed our Stay!
Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway. We were in the area to visit Olympic National Park, and the The Hideaway was a comfortable and convenient home base for our stay. The house was in great shape. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked several meals during our stay. The view from the back deck was amazing. I would recommend The Hideaway to anyone visiting Port Angeles.

Stunning
The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this place is. The view is just incredible. Not only is it clean, and in a great location they have nailed being hosts. Anything you could need is there. It was so nice to feel comfortable in a home that was not my own! I will say the only downfall is that the decorations are so incredible that it made me want to go shopping when I get home! It’s so quaint, quiet and simply gorgeous!

A great getaway
We love vising Port Angeles for a number of reasons but one of our favorites has got to be biking the Olympic Discovery Trail with the family. When we saw this place had direct access to the trail we had to check it out and we were not disappointed. The home also boasts a great view of the strait, feels really private (although there are cameras throughout the property including one facing the hot tub), and is one of the cleanest homes and well stocked kitchens we've seen. We would love to stay here again when we inevitably visit PA again.

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect location on the water. Loved the view from house, the deck, and the hot-tub! Will absolutely stay again! One note… try to get there in the daylight for your first time. The road to the house is narrow and sketchy… makes sense as you’re on the water front!

Beautiful Property! Fabulous Experience!
We absolutely loved the Hideaway! It was the perfect hub for our PNW adventures into Olympic National Park. We hiked Hurricane Ridge, the Hole in the Wall at Rialto Beach, the Hall of Mosses in the Hoh Rainforest, Sol Dic Falls, and explored Lake Crescent. Each evening we relaxed from our adventurous days in the hot tub overlooking the sound. The Hideaway is clean, beautifully decorated, and had absolutely everything we needed. Five stars!! I’d definitely stay there again!

End of Summer Vacation
We absolutely loved this property! It was very clean and just as described. The view from the house overlooking the water was gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the ships go by during our morning coffee. We even saw some dorsal fins in the water from the deck so that was pretty exciting. The accommodations at the property provided everything we needed and then some and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we go back to Olympic National Park.

A gem!
The property is located right on the Juan de Fuca strait overlooking Canada. The views are incredible! Especially after a whole day of hiking in the Olympic National Park , then sitting in the jacuzzi! It appears recently built, very comfortable, with two bedrooms and full two bathrooms. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. A nice kitchen and a grill on the patio. I am so glad to find it in otherwise bleak town of Port Angeles. It is also very close to the entrance to the park. We had a wonderful hiking family vacation!

Great central spot for exploring!

PERFECT VRBO!
We have been VRBO owners for years and this was one of the best places we have stayed! It was spotless when we arrived. We had plans to go out to dinner and explore the town but decided the house was so cute we ended up staying in and cooking and enjoying the view from the porch. It was so lovely to have a beautiful home to return to after a full day of exploring. We really enjoyed cocktails in the hot tub watching the sun go down. There is a quick little walk down to the beach and a nice walking trail along the water. We took a walk every morning and saw lots of deer down on the beach. The house was beautifully decorated and everything (beds, chairs, couch) was super comfortable. They have all the amenities, kitchen supplies, towels, etc you could possibly need. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous view and loved the Olympic Discovery Trail
The view this house has is amazing. Plus the Olympic Discovery Trail is right below the house and walking distance to downtown Port Angeles. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. It was a bit hard to find the house as it’s down a gravel road that GPS stopped us at a place that there was not a a house- so keep going a little farther if this happens to you. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will go again. PS the owner was very responsive if needed. Thank-you to them for sharing this house.

Absolutely Perfect!
This stay was so amazing, I don't know where to begin! So here's a list: 1. Tiffany & Mike are awesome hosts! They are super responsive, extremely helpful & just really nice people. They also 100% mean it when they say they offer a 5 star experience. 2. Amenities. Everything - and I do mean everything - you need for your stay is right there. I have stayed in a lot of rentals & this by far is the best for amenities! I could go on & on but I'll just say, this was very much appreciated! 3. The house - great vibe, great decor. Lots & lots of big windows for amazing views all around the house. The bed in the master suite was super comfy. The shower was amazing. 4. The yard - It was great to be right on the Salish Sea with a beautiful view of the water and the mountains of Canada. We watched sea lions swimming right in front of the house every day. Also every day, there were several deer who spent a large amount of time in the yard. We enjoyed watching a bald eagle that nested nearby and at low tide we went down to the beach and saw lots of crabs and other sea creatures in the rocks. And all this could be seen from the fabulous hot tub which was also perfect to relax in after a long day of hiking! 4. The location - aside from being on the water, we also found Port Angeles to be a really nice city and a great location to reach all the different locations in the park from. We plan to return next year and hope to rent this house again!

Beautiful views! Quiet, charming, and clean property. We had a great stay, played on the beach, walked the Olympic trail and enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views of the straight! We will definitely book again when back in the area! Tiffany is an amazing host, you will not be disappointed.
