This is by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had, the staff and management are extremely rude and disrespectful! The staff refused to help a 75 year old disabled veteran get his luggage into his room and I had to step in to help. When my wife ( she's the level headed one in our marriage) went to speak to the manager about this she's was talked over and told that it was none of her business. The staff member that called the manager over so my wife could talk to them accused my wife of refusing to leave the office when they had never asked her to leave. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! Also, when you look at the pictures online the rooms look really nice, but there is no amount of nice furnishings that can hide how run down and dilapidated this place actually is. Never staying at any Red Lion again!!!

Red Lion Inn at Port Angeles Harbor is lovely. The room was quiet and comfortable with a great balcony. The AC/heater had not was a little noisy and somewhat fussy. We liked the excellent view of harbor, close proximity to several dining options, the Discovery Trail, and Downtown.

The property was easily accessible and has a restaurant attached. When we arrived to our room after checking in there were construction members in there. They had been using the outlets because they were painting the outside of the building. So they had been going in and out from the balcony in their work boots. Because of this the floor was extremely dirty making all of our feet black covered in dirt. I informed housekeeping of the situation and they said “well they don’t clean the floors when guests are there”. I said even tho the construction crew was why the floor was so filthy? So we ended up wearing our shoes in our room the entire time.

Location is great. People are pleasant, property seems dated and needs a refresh. Room had a very nice view of the water but was lacking a lot. Mattress lacked support unless you slept in the middle, probably showing its age. No exhaust fan in bathroom, no shower soap, no place near sink to hang wet wash cloths. We stayed two nights and never had our trash cans emptied. Overpriced for what we got but the parking lot was full so the negatives have not driven people away yet.

This place is fantastic! Room is spacious, clean and our view all the way to Vancouver was great. Plenty of walkable eating places and great walk along with dogs. Definitely would recommend.

Not having room service for almost $500 a night is diabolical. It was hard to get an extra 2 towels, we were there for 4 days. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The balcony with ocean view was great, made the wharf area very accesible, and despite it being fully booked we had no parking ussues. The small beach was a big hit with the kids, so qas the pool. The pool is in the middle of the parking lot, (There are some homeless folks sleeping along the beach, they showed up around dusk. Had no problems, just something to be aware of, and not the hotels fault) If they started including breakfast and housekeeping, we would absolutely come back. As it is, we wouldn't return.

The manager was very accommodating to our requests. The room was lovely. It’s a quiet property on the water. It was clean and looked recently renovated. I’d definitely recommend it and would book there again.

My family used it as a stay before our ferry to Friday Harbor. We were there for one evening and didn’t get to try the breakfast. It is a beautiful location with a fantastic view. Ate pizza outside on their patio while watching the sunset. The room is dated but had a little kitchen area and like I said, the ambiance couldn’t be beat.
